Where in Mumbai can I get hold of gel seats? Does the current seat need to be modified or does it comes as a complete new seat?

i have recently serviced my bike and changed oil from bajaj dtsi to Motul 3100 Gold 20W50. Also changed te chain sprocket too. Now the issue is bike has bicome a loot rough. mostly on lower gear and on 6th gear.

any idea if it could be the oil or new chain sprocet or is it some thing else got messed up during servicing?

Most of the times, we need to give some time for the new oil to settle down. Pouring fresh oil and expecting instant smoothness and awesomeness is actually a bit of injustice to the oil. 150-200 kms later, the oil will learn by itself on how it is supposed to flow inside. Is Motul 3100 Gold a mineral oil?
                Regards,

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

Its already 350km done and still the roughness is there. 3100 is mineral and 3100 Gold in semi synthetic.

Dude I'm from Maharashtra and mind u only go for new mrf tyres. Tvs euroslips are average and not so panic friendly. Inquires in delearships and demand to mrf even if a few bucks more.

I asked in Popular Bajaj , Banashankari, Outer ring road quite sometime back. They now have MRF tyres as stock but if needed can switch it to Eurogrips.

Any NS owner can help you regarding dealer experience.

PS: NO price change for new tyres. But since the last time i asked price might have increased thanks to the excise duty rollback.

Hello World! ( Where we let our souls ride , & not just the body. ) ,

I am Planning to buy this bike in Delhi and I must admit that I am way too desperate for this machine ( and I need one asap , due to daily commute to office.)

I recently went to a nearby showroom , and the guy quoted me a price tag of 1,03,200 INR OTR price. Is this on the higher side or is it variable throughout the city ( New Delhi )?

Also , I am planning to get it on finance , as I recently put a huge hole in my bank balance by spending on DSLR & a Gaming Rig. Now , I am Not sure what would be the most feasible option .
I get my Salary deposited in ICICI bank , and their interest rates are quite high. Say 15% or so. I looked up with HDFC as an option and they seem to be the cheapest of all , offering ~13% to non-HDFC users and a bit less to HDFC-A/C holders.
I can get my salary account transferred to HDFC , if I want. Should be piece of cake.

Now if I lean towards HDFC , then considering the maximum amount they would assist with in purchasing the bike would be 85%. This settles the loan with HDFC at ~88,000 INR for either 2/3 years.
Remaining amount to be paid as a down payment would be ~16,000 INR. I am wondering If I can swipe my HDFC Credit Card for the Down payment ? That would be easy for me to pay off in a month or two , hoping that it's acceptable. Is it ?

On a side note , do they allow outsiders ( non-residents of Delhi ) to purchase a bike in Delhi , without permanent local address proof ? All I got is as Delhi's residence proof ,is a Letter from the MNC stating that I am working with them from past X months residing at X Address ,And a Postpaid Vodafone Mobile Bill along with Notarized Rent Agreement.
I do hold an Election Card & a Central Bank Account , way back at my hometown in Gujarat.

Looking for input and recommendations from fellow bikers.

And Thanks for the Welcome post in advance.

                              Thnks for your input,
I believe , I had a brief conversation with Bajaj FinServ guys , but I think their maximum finance assistance offered was just 60% or so.
I got a call from ICICI bank somehow , ( blame the search engine & online firms ) and they quoted me a ROI of 13.49% on personal loan for 3 years for 1 lac ( which is what I asked for ). It's fixed ROI.

Is it cheap ? & how does personal loan works ? Should I blow them a whistle ?

Better take a personal loan at the same 13% rate.. Trust me the emi wud be lower and no hassle of hypothecation.. Much quicker than 2 wheeler loan.. And u can take ful 1lac as loan and then repay in couple of years.. That way u also keep the down payment cash with u..
