Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
MRF zapper Q got good review and rating thats all i can say. Try to get your hands on michelin street pilot radial if not Mrf revS. Ceat zoom xl is in 140 section, traction is great but i\'m still new with it. Can\'t give you much long term detail.Originally posted by HariB View PostPut The Pedal To The Metal

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys i have a serious problem with my bike.... I reached 2000kms yesterday. So out of pure love i wanted to taste this bikes raw power n opened the throttle since i completed RUN-IN period. Im totally disappointed. My engine refuses to push forward. AS like everybody say it\'ll easily cruise at 110kmph. But in my case its difficult to even ride at a speed of 75kmpl. The engine feels like its choking to breath n i should not twist my throttle more. Initially i thought its coz of the engine oil. So i changed the oil today evening, n tuk it for a ride again. But still im not able to get the speed in my bike. Pulsar 220 karizma n even CBZ Xtreme fellows r overtaking me with ease. I feel im riding my old Pulsar 150cc.
Im terribly disappointed and entirely confused... What can be the problem ???
Please let me know

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Thank for your reply bro.....Means the engine is not moving forward... at the speed of 80kmph the engine behaves like its in at 140kmph...
At a signal pulsar 220 n karizma took me up with ease they raced forward while im trying to catch them but i lagged behind as if im riding a 100cc engine...

Also check free play of clutch cable. If there is no free play, clutch may slip and the engine rpm will go up like hell when you open the throttle, but you won\\\'t get power or speed.Originally posted by Jean View PostGuys i have a serious problem with my bike.... Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
The rpm is not goin high. I achieve 70kmph @ 6000rpm . I only lack speed and acceleration. Its refusing n crying to go beyond this point. Out of frustration i tried it now once again. ITs the same. The engine is feeling chocked. No speed and accelerationOriginally posted by krixna View PostAlso check free play of clutch cable. At 6000rpm, 200NS will go 84kmph in 6th gear. Are you sure you were in 6th gear? :POriginally posted by Jean View PostThe rpm is not goin high. I achieve 70kmph @ 6000rpm . Anyway if you are sure it is not clutch, then it should be tuning. Have the carburettor and air filter checked. Air filter full of dust can also be a reason for engine to feel choked because dirty air filter means it does not get air to breathe!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Thanks for your help Mate. Did you change the rear tyre alone? How much it cost you? When we are going from 130 to 140 section do we need to do any special arrangements in bike or we can fit it just like that? Do you have any suggestion for front tyre?Originally posted by Tanzing Sherpa View PostMRF zapper Q got good review and rating thats all i can say. Does anyone here know how Revz can act on NS? I heard that they provide awesome grip but are very sensitive to punctures.
Is it harm to change the rear tyre alone?
Does anyone face any problem with the Eurogrip Front Tyre?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
From 130-140 no need of any special arrangement. I think its same for 150 too but i assume that that would be way too upgrade. I paid NRs.6000 for Ceat Zoom XL,Bang fot a buck. My front is still stock and i\'ve no second thought to change it as its serving me well. I\'d suggest to save some money by not changing the front and focus on safety gear unless you\'re uncomfortable with it.Originally posted by HariB View PostThanks for your help Mate. Sorry bro,i can\'t give you much detail as i\'m still in break in period. Its a mid compound tyre so traction is great in dry and suppose to be bit same in wet too but i won\'t expect awesome feedback on that price otherwise it will be the TYRE OF THE YEAR. Other ceat user also didn\'t gave much detail info. Hope someone will pop-up.Originally posted by ep452 View PostHey,how is the CEAT tyre behaving on wet road? and any idea if its puncture prone.Put The Pedal To The Metal

Thanks Bro, for your suggestion.
Things I heard from a local MRF Tyre Dealer about Revz and Zapper Q
REVZ S are very good Tyres which offers excellent grip and wont let you down under any situation.
But the problem with them is, they are soft component tyres and so prone to punctures.
They will wear out soon. Max is 15k Kms.
There is a chance like if they got into some 4 or more punctures we might need to replace even if they done some low kms.
Zapper Q is a performance Compound Tyre.
Does not provide Grip like Revz S but provide enough Grip to tackle panic brakes.
Good Performance - Grip Balance.
Less expensive than Revz S.
Not Prone to Punctures.
Anyone please correct me if Im wrong in any of the above points.

Please let me knowIt could be a lot of reasons but I\'ll just pen down whatever comes to my mind at 4:10 AM (pulling an all nighter in office).Originally posted by Jean View PostThank for your reply bro.....Means the engine is not moving forward... at the speed of 80kmph the engine behaves like its in at 140kmph...

1. Clogged air filter.
2. Clogged fuel lines/pipes.
3. Spark plugs aren\'t firing properly.
4. Clutch out of proper setup.
5. Check engine oil level.
6. Once the engine is sufficiently warmed up, try revving it a bit more than 80% of the RPM range. Eg.: If the bike is set for 10K RPM, try to rev it up till 8K or so in NEUTRAL to see if it indeed is revving freely or not.
DO post the results of the above and yes, take your bike to the SVC ASAP.Regards,
Akash Yadav
