One Small Query Guys, Whenever i see a post about running in or Breaking in of the Engine i See this a lot\\\"Avoid riding at a constant engine speed or RPM, whether fast or slow, for a extended period of time\\\"

what i need to Know is what is the amount of time considered \\\"extended\\\", and how often should i vary the engine speed/RPM

Due to abrupt leak of newly pour motul 3100 ,had to gp for dtsi crap.
Its only 700 kms and i feel like riding some 10year old pulsar.
Wasnt able to log in also.
Many funny things took place in last couple of days.
Got intercepted at ito for speeding at 123kmhr .it was a humongous task to convince tulla for 100₹ ,as i didnt had any money on me at all..!!.
A guy who bought 220 some odd hours ago ,decided to follow me to check out what i was riding. He went from cp to ito behind me ,was looking like a kid in candy store, compared his console with mine ,etc etc sadly the sales guy duped the poor chap by fooling him about 200ns as some slightly modified version of p135ls/not worth/many problems/220 is best etc etc .he was not much educated about biking. Convinced him that 220 is also a great performer, somewhat made him happy.
Oh man ,i morning ,7'c pe euroslip performs like you're riding on ice ,they slip like hell if they arent warm enough.
Trying to ride sanely under 70kmph since last tankfull to check mileage at average sanity.after that will check mileage at ultra sanity and speeds below 40 until next tankfull.
Too much fun ,never ever dissatisfied apart from one two stupid svc mistakes.
Half of the problems guys are having on this thread is due to poor afr/idle setup.

Hey guys i\'m running in this problem since a long....time. Everytime i change my led pilot lamp it\'ll last only a week (start blinking) though it won\'t cost much but still its frustrating to change all the time. I thought it was a quality issue because of its cheapness but they told me that only the NS is suffering from this issue. Is it so? And my chain gets loose all the time. I\'m really fed up off this chain making clinking sound specially on bumpy trail. ODO 10,100K.

Mate the smds have poor soldering and because of vibrations the soldering gets loose
My number plate led and pilot lights get completely disintegrated..
Try a t10 led pilot no flickering of any sort...

Have been using a chinese local pilot lamp from last 14 months ,not even a blink.

Looks like unique look of 200 ns is carried over to new 150
Got one test mule to look at.. its simply downsized 200.. thin front fork, puny tyres, has same radiator gaurd to channel air flow, ugly looking kicker, and smaller disc up front! The leg guard was bigger and felt more sturdier than one's we got.. and lastly the exhaust looked like a small pvc pipe poking out side from bottom :/
The rear number plate is replaced with normal pulsar mudguard
                    ..

                      Hi all,

looking for oil change and planning for 20w50 as I have to go through a lot of b2b traffic daily. From engine oil threads it seems i have to go for Motul 7100 or 3100 Gold or valvolin premium.

7100 is a bit costly and i couldn\'t find 3100 gold or valvoline. Do I have any other options?

Gave my bike for service at Popular Motor Corporation (Authorized) yesterday Today morning, just checked the oil level (centre stand, of course).... nowhere to be seen in the window!! Tilted it on the centre centre stand, and oil slowly appeared. Should be at least 200ml less, I guessed. I\'m not going to leave the cheats like this, I thought, and I picked up the bill. Only then I remembered it was Sunday, and I have to wait till tomorrow. But... they have billed only 1 litre!!! What the front fork?! These guys don\'t even know how much oil goes into the NS engine?!
