You can use it but wont work properly as like on duke because duke has led indicators where as ns has ordinary blubs so that product won't work properly..Originally posted by pratikthereddevil View PostBut this is a product which needs to be plugged in ...in duke it is plug n play unit, do we have the same electrical circuit as duke

I did hazard light setup myself takes on 10 mins, a toggle switch, soldering iron, solder, insulation tape, a small pipe (to hide the wires..) and patience
I am attaching a pic of circuit or how to rewire..
This how i did it.. no problems with load or the flasher..
For more better understanding
Here's how it will look
And the sleeve thats near key hole has the wires gone from the Indicator switch to the toggle switch..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Changed my rear tyre to Revz s. May be the rear tyre was repairable as the cut was not at all visible from the inside but i was frustrated with its grip.I used to corner like a novice whenever there is wet and it skid terribly on sand and dirt. Even roadside puncture wala said that the old tyre was desi and ghatiya.Currently the rear brake is gone (whenever the rear disc caliper is opened rear brake bite disappears which comes back after a few days) so don't know about the improvement in braking. I am expecting big improvements in grip and braking.I am loving my NS

It will improve, run a few more kms ..around 80-100kms ; that should tell you the difference.Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostChanged my rear tyre to Revz s. As far as driving in Wet/Sand/Dirt goes ..it will improve but it again depends on the how much you push, you push it too far ..any tire will fail.
Rear Braking issue could be due to the Tyre itself, you can try to have the disc/calipers cleaned too see if it makes any difference.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
hello guys, i have been following this thread for quite some time now. Bought the ns few months ago and its been an awesome experience. However, I'd appreciate it if you can help me with these:
-Odo is at 1600km first service done at 500 and i was thinking of moving to motul 5100 as the head has started vibrating a little.
-Svc(both bajaj and KTM) wont give me the oil filter saying i have to change it there only?
-I am not able to see front brake oil. is it colourless?
Please help!ThanksLast edited by PetrolH3ad; 09-26-2014, 08:57 PM.

By tail light you mean the Indicators right?
Duke indicators cost a bomb.. 1800 rs a pair.. So for 2 pairs its 3600 + that flasher you are looking at costs 1200 so that mounts to 4800 approximately..
Where as it costed me just 50 bucks to get all stuff and do it
And for looks it won't gel well imo.. looks are subjective though.. I had seen a ns with those indicators .. looks to small for me though for both rear and front end ..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
To petrolhead , yes you won't be able to see the front brake oil, don't worry that's normal, they use a different kind of oil, the service centre guy explained to me clearly and he said don't worry , its full, he mentioned the kind of oil. Some centrifugal something, it's gaseous

How can a brake oil be gaseous brotherOriginally posted by levintt View PostTo petrolhead , yes you won't be able to see the front brake oil, don't worry that's normal, they use a different kind of oil, the service centre guy explained to me clearly and he said don't worry , its full, he mentioned the kind of oil. Brake oil cant seen means two things...
1. Either oil level is above that circular window
2. Or theres no oil at all..
For dot 3 oil it'll look reddish.. and for dot 4 slightly browrnish.. In some case completely transparent..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
If you're planning to switch to Motul, I suggest you switch to 7100 instead of 5100. 7100 does an amazing job.Originally posted by PetrolH3ad View Posthello guys, i have been following this thread for quite some time now. Yes, I faced the exact same problem today. They don't give you the filters. Just buy the oil from outside and get it changed along with the oil filter from the service center itself.
Front brake oil is DOT3 which is colorless in most cases, so you're cool. Cheers. Happy riding. It never gets easier, you just go faster.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Since it has very few kms on the odo, I think 5100 being SS is a better option after that I'll switch to 7100 [emoji106] . Do the svc guys allow motul? Mine said no when I'd asked during my first service.Originally posted by anirudhchandrashekar View PostIf you're planning to switch to Motul, I suggest you switch to 7100 instead of 5100. 7100 does an amazing job.

Or I think I'll change oil filter at svc and change the oil on my way back.

Oil filter can be changed by even a local mechanic..Originally posted by PetrolH3ad View PostSince it has very few kms on the odo, I think 5100 being SS is a better option after that I'll switch to 7100 [emoji106] . Do the svc guys allow motul? Mine said no when I'd asked during my first service.

Will changing oil tell him to change filter also...
