Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Even I am having same settings. Seems to be working properly for me. Its normal for the rpm to be more when engine is bit hot.

Re: Weird side stand notification issue : Pulsar 200ns
Query Approved and MergedOriginally posted by smrutisourav View PostHello,
2 days ago I noticed that side stand indicator is always off, regardless of the position of side stand.
Yesterday took my bike to service, mechanic said that side stand switch is kaput...They didnt have side stand switch in stock, so asked me to wait for 10-15 days. They checked the plug to which side stand switch is connected, said its fine, just switch needs to be replaced. He checked by inserting ends of one wire to each side of plug and side stand light glowed.
So in the evening I went to buy that switch from outside. Got it AT 110 Rs! Took to a local mechanic to install it, and it didnt work also.
Issue starts here:
When the side stand switch is connected but not mounted on its location, then that light turns on. But as soon as its mounted on its location, it stops working. Same happens with new switch also.
Some pictures from illustration.

I tried searching if its getting turned off due to presence of different metals, so kept touching it everywhere but side stand notification was always on, only when i touched the bolt on the side stand or when i mounted, the light turned off.
I told the same to svc they told to come on monday, meanwhile it will be good if u people can help me.
P.S. : Mechanic cleaned that area with petrol, later at home, i cleaned that area with kerosene..Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

SVC guys are not able to fix it !!! i feel the noise is coming from the headlight areaAlmost all of us here have these squeaks, ticks, rattlings from the console and plastics surrounding the tank. A member here had double sided tapes stuck in the console seating area so the vibrations are dampened by it.Originally posted by ramdante View PostSame issue here guys, there is "krrrrrr" sound always coming from around the console area, tried svc a couple of times, still persists.

For the console, do this: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/do-yours...ar-200-ns.htmlOriginally posted by ramdante View PostSame issue here guys, there is "krrrrrr" sound always coming from around the console area, tried svc a couple of times, still persists.

Also, use double-sided tape to absorb the vibrations a bit more. Tank parts need the rubber grommets from the SVC. And my bike has the mild handlebar vibrations which I have on purpose. Watch out for some bolts in the vicinity of the engine which might have gotten loose and causing rattling sounds at particular rpms.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.
