I am not sure about the name. Its been a year since. Its on the right side mid way to JC road. Dont know if he will offer you the same. I got that price as the tyre was changed when the bike was brand new. Less than 20 kms

        1. If you want the handlebar clip ons to be a bit smaller, it should be pushed a little front so that it doesn't touch the tank when turned completely. So riding position would get aggressive but odd.
        2. If you want the handlebar clip ons bent in a bit inward like that on R15 then you'd have to fabricate taller clip ons so that they don't touch the tank again. Riding position will be pretty much the same but that doesn't solve your question.

Try to use the KTM handlebar and for the holders, get them custom made so that they fit the NS in the right places. There's probably no way you can fit it directly without bending the bar appropriately. Then again, after going through all that, if you aren't satisfied, there would be no point at all.
I dont mind looking odd if i want to exploit the 100% of NS handling, so in some way by stating the point no 1 in your post, you agree that NS can be made agressive but only trade off would be the odd looking tanks since we will have to cut the body of tank in order to accomodate the agressive handles, Right??

PS: This idea is for hard core cornering

Yes. If you don't mind cutting and reshaping the tank, you can fit the handlebar as and how you require.

            • Re: pulsar 200ns Drive Chain issue

Zorrik 88 is basically a rust remover and light lubricant, For o ring sealed chains (open chains) chain lubricant sprays is preferred at every 500 kms, zorrik may damage the o rings.

              ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

stickering looks great, gives it a more sporty look, something like KTM

              ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

I have inquired with other bikers r15,220, fz with open o-ring sealed chain, the experience suggests , chain works well beyond 25 k kms, Even the bajaj service manual ( 200 NS) states to just change the chain link lock and adjust upto 40k kms, there is no where mentioned to replace. I feel there is some quality issue with the drive chain. with proper librication, as i had brought chain lube spray and used it every 600 kms, the sprockets are also not worn out anywhere, but the chain has gone bad.

Guys I'm 25, around 5"11, sort of skinny. I have this severe back pain issue, I can't ride NS more than 50 to max 100 kms in one day. I always need a few minutes of bed rest after such rides. Not about potholes, even on a smooth expressway, I get back pain. It's sad cos this severe pain practically prevents me from enjoying my ride. just after.. say about 30kms I start feeling it, 50kms, it gets hard to bear, and above that I just try to get home asap or take a break. Is this related to NS' ride quality or seating position somehow ? or should I consult a doctor for this ?

you definetely need a doctor.i use my ns a minimum 80kms daily and have stretched it to 400kms without halting.never got issues except left palm due to stiff clutch

                        Two possibilities:
                        1) either your back needs 2 week bed rest, do some scans and check with the doctor after which again you drive for 30 kms the pain comes back. Which happened to me on my pulsar220.

                        2) or your front suspension needs to be done true, by a good renowned- turner, coz when the bike falls or goes in heavy potholes, the forks get missalligned and the fork doesn perform the way they should, even though its a plain road the bike transfers all the minor jerks directly to the riders, resulting this back pain. (Had this same experience so its easier for me to relate.)

Hi Guys! A new entrant on xBhp here.

The general feedback on mouthshut about this bike is poor, but here I find it's good (couldn't go through this full thread, so may have missed). Has anyone seen those reviews? Apart from the paper specs and first ride experience, how does the quality speak in the laung term? I have known previous pulsars to start ageing pretty soon. Is this bike different?

Edit: I currently ride my first bike, FZ 16, which I bought more than 4 years back. I am 5'6" with 58 kg body

ya i see. im totally used to the clutch feel. I can't imagine going 400kms without halting, it's like a dream for me lol.

hmm, front suspension issue really ? you could be right there, My bike has had 2 minor falls. and one accident where the rims were bent. The mechanics at the SVC never said anything about the front forks. But it does feel like the bike transfers all the jerks to me. There are times when other bikers on the road would go past me, as I would maintain a slower pace due to the uneven road surface, not like potholes but unven.. if u got me. So i feel every bit of that through my handle bars. I'm not sure if it's normal in NS. A friend of mine said it's due to the fact I don't always keep my back straighened up while riding. Anyways, How to detect if there is really an issue with front suspension of my NS ? easy to tell ? Don't like to visit SVC much.
Also, I will probably see a Doctor soon, but it's unlikely that anything will come up in the scans.

Yesterday a jerk banged me from behind in a spark on NH8.
Actually what happened was , it was morning of eid @ 8:30ish and there is a mosque on the other side of NH8( rajeev chowk, gurgaon) , people were crossing the road to get to the other side to the mosque. There was a car halted, waiting for them to cross the road, i was waiting rite behind the car to move. Suddenly i hear a skidding sound and suddenly I'm in the air already for few seconds before i land on my left side! Before i can get my self together and realize what had happened i see people have surrounded me( the same who were crossing the road). The guy who had hit me comes to inquire about the sustained injuries. I had my Icarus and MPA on , so was saved. But i did incur an internal injury on my shoulder , i guess because of the sudden jerk. He tried offering me money and a ride to the hospital for first aid. I refused money , and took his number and his car registration number. The first thing i did after getting up was inspect my ride, it had sustained a bent rear mudguard touching the tyre, scratches on the visor and head light, bent clutch lever and bent left leg guard.

Went straight to home after it, got first aid and took the bike to svc, and and then to a good doc for the shoulder.

Lesson learned: reinforced belief on riding gears. And no one is accident proof, even if one is merely standing on the road.

Dent on pocket: estimate will be given on Monday.

P.s. - learned mass mentality that day, a car pulled up next to my mess and started blabbering and blaming me for the accident even before knowing the whole situation! the good part was that the guy who hit me accepted his mistake himself and and explained everything to that jack arse . They have a tendency to blame the biker in any scenario! :banghead:

Well i don't know what mouthshut has to claim but being a NS owner for almost three months i have learned one thing, that I'll never cease to amaze you with its power, whether it be the pick up or stopping power. It's tamed under 5k but turns into a true monster as soon as it hits higher revs and has a FE which can put a150cc to Shame. Its total vfm, believe me if i was replying to your post on my lap i would have given a full ride review with minute details of the bike. You'll love owning it.

                                Regards
                                A happy and satisfied owner.

P.s. though I'm only 3k old on the odo, but people here have done good 25ks without any major problem. It's a notch above its other siblings when it comes to quality.
