Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In Thane (Mumbai suburb), abs on road is 1.278k and non abs is 1.138kOriginally posted by kc_1602 View PostAnyone who got the 2017/18 version, can you please share the in road price? Of Abs and non abs version

Hi guys, I had almost finalized on 200 NS abs (white color) but got into a dilemma after the recent launch of RTR 200 version 2.0, which is having dual channel abs and is cheaper by approx 17k.
I intend to use bike in city traffic with average usage of about 30-50 kms per day and frequent weekend rides of about 200-300kms. Please suggest if I'm right in choosing 200 NS over this new RTR.
Thanks!

In the same confusion... similar usage too...daily office commute around 30kms in a day and occasionally weekend rides . Needs to be comfortable too as I'm 6ft tall [emoji14]Originally posted by $nick$ View PostIn Thane (Mumbai suburb), abs on road is 1.278k and non abs is 1.138k

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
If u want more powerful bike and can compromise on mileage in city then go for 200ns but if mileage is an concern then go for apache 200 and that bike is safer then 200ns with the slipper clutch and dual channel abs and the maintenance costs are also less . But if we talk about touring 200ns with its 6th gear can cruise better than the apache and can give the same mileage on highways. And i will suggest you to take long test ride of the 2 bikes before buying it. i'm also 6ft and i have ridden both bikes in city conditions and I'm comfortable on both of them. Test ride the fz 250 also.[emoji106]Originally posted by $nick$ View PostIn Thane (Mumbai suburb), abs on road is 1.278k and non abs is 1.138k

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi brother, as you said, I did not follow OEM break-in because I know these engines don't require a initial break-in for 2k kms, I did the hard one, as per KTM. Still this problem persisted. Actually there's an issue with new NS. Almost every one PAN India is facing this issue with their new NS.
If you can throw a soln to this,it would be great .
Thanks

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
New NS has quality issues brother. No need to rode so sane buddy, ride fast but safe.
I own the new 2017 NS 200, and I am regretting my decision since then. Don't feel the vibrations though but fit and finish is pathetic.Parts quality is good. It's the fit and finish that's pathetic. Real pathetic. Forks get loose , effecting it's handling. Let me tell you , I am talking the new NS manufactured after 2017, so please old NS owners plz don't quote me on this.
I still say, Bajaj QC is worse . Pathetic.
Regretting every bit of it
Never going back to bajaj again.
And guys if you are purchasing , go for RS , plz don't go for the pathetic AND. You will cry later

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
May be its just your unit that has the issues, ever thought about that? I also bought ns200 2017 bs4 model and my unit has no problem except for a few which can be rectified through proper methods, I have felt that gear lever is a little too hard when changing gears except that I haven't noticed any problem. Everyone who rode my bike has nothing but praises to say about it, I wouldn't say its perfect but opinions can be subjective.Originally posted by virusuman View PostNew NS has quality issues brother. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi guys, Yesterday I visited the showroom to take delivery of white NS 200(ABS version) but they only had Eurogrip models available. Since I only wanted MRF ones, so I left without taking delivery.
Today bajaj guys called saying that they have received 1 black NS 200 having MRF tyres and can fit those tyres in the Eurogrip fitted white NS.
Need your expert advice, whether I should go ahead and take the delivery of white NS with changed tyres(from Eurogrips to MRF) ? Is there any risk going forward ? Bajaj guy says it doesnt make any difference, but I want to be double sure.
Appreciate your help

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi friends
After a long time visiting this thread. My NS is still so crisp and strong. Clocked around 50k KMs. Using Motul 7100 since 2nd service till now. No complaints about engine and power. Just have to fill-full its various demands about minor hiccups like chain, cone-set, vibs etc. But now me and my mechanic are tired to keep steering cone tight or changing it every now and then. Every time I hit series of potholes next day steering feels more viby and hands started to get numb. After that, while applying brakes, steering vibs get annoying. So thinking to upgrade it to tapered bearing cone set. Problem is, I cannot find it in local market here in South Gujarat as well as online sites. Can anyone provide some info? And also share about your bike experiences about this.
Thank you

I know quite a few 2017 and 2018 NS200 owners who are quite happy with their bike . Yes there have been some complaints regarding mileage , RPM , etc but I haven't seen anyone regretting it so much as it has been solved by SVC in most of the cases .
I think you should consult with your SVC if your not satisfied with SVC consult with any trusted good mechanic outside and I am pretty sure whatever problem you have is solvable .

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
There is absolutely no problem in that just check they will change only tyre or along with rims. As while changing tyre there could be minor scratches on rims. If the black is non abs and white is abs then rim change would not be possible.Originally posted by $nick$ View PostHi guys, Yesterday I visited the showroom to take delivery of white NS 200(ABS version) but they only had Eurogrip models available.
