Great. How is it?. Though no change from previous NS, heard the cdi has been changed for AHO. The shades looks very nice compared to dual color schemes.Originally posted by saran_RS200 View Post

Service charge depends on Tier-I and Tier-II. I paid about 450 for labor. But again, I replaced my headlight assembly along with my service, for which they charged 250/- additional. So in your case, if you are doing chain replacement with other services (oil, cleaning, etc), then 600/- seems just normal.Originally posted by tanirbhay View PostAt SVC the total cost is 1900 for chain and sprockets plus 600 for labor charge. How many kms have you clocked till now ?

Well, it's strange. I have no such things. Is this on your new NS?. If I remember correctly, the old or first gen NS owners have said that the fan continues to run with kill switch turned off. But mine is 2nd gen, the kill switch will cut off the power to the fan. Same with one of my friend who had 2nd gen. While letting the fan run a while is good as the engine cannot get sufficient heat dissipation when parked or in signal. But the fan can also drain the battery, esp if the battery is in weak state.Originally posted by saran_RS200 View PostYesterday my bike engine got hot too much. The radiator fan was running even after switching of the engine. The kill switch was alone turned on again after switching of the engine.

I hardly suspect it to be on Disc. Usually dirt or deformed disc will produce scratching sound, which is easy to observe. However, this sound is related to the ball bearing in the wheel hub. Maybe fixing them could solve the problem. Though it isn't a major thing to worry unless it disturbs your ride. To make a notice of this to SVC, take test drive of the guy in your bike, and show the clutch-less ride.Originally posted by DarthVVader View PostI seem to have a slight niggle on my NS. There's a squeaky sound from the front wheel that sounds almost exactly like a bird chirping ( too similar) I checked the front discs and there's a slight hissing noise when I rotate front wheel, is that normal? That squeak comes when I pull out the bike after a stop or when I ride at around 30 and hold clutch I can hear it. When I hit the front brakes the noise becomes continuous. So I parked the vehicle and tried to reproduce it and nada. No sound. It only come when riding in a quiet neighborhood. The service center guy said he isn't hearing and it's normal and what not. How do I tell him to fix what I cant reproduce in front of him. Damn frustrating

The disc should not heat up no matter what if not used
thank you,
i checked ,, at some points am seeing some friction while rotating wheel and while at 20-30 kmph am seeing disc assembly vibrates a little.

Running on Motul 7100. Good, it's keeping up well till such a long interval. Now I need to service and change oil.

Cool Dude. Will the front disk heat up after riding some 6 to 10 kms. The front disk gets too hot. When I park the vehicle in center stand and rotate its rotating freely. What would be the problem?Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostYeah man, got held up. No rides, no fun... Now would want to come back... The gear shift from 1 to 2 is little tricky. 3 in 10 times I end up in N instead of 2. I change the gear in full clutch. Any adjustments to be done?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Is there any better option to change the sprocket and the cain set with ? What difference it would make in the performance of bike?Originally posted by Vicky_New_Guy View Post15k. Check the MRP on it. 600 for labour is too much. I'll call up my SVC later today and enquire about labour charges. Will keep you posted.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Just spoke with SVC. ₹1,550 for chain sprocket and ₹500 for labour. By better option do you mean something better than stock?Originally posted by tanirbhay View PostIs there any better option to change the sprocket and the cain set with ? What difference it would make in the performance of bike?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Dukes sprockets won't work. From what I can tell dukes got bigger rear sprockets than ours. You'll lose on top end but gain pickup. Won't work for me as I spend a lot of time on the highway. Will have to go higher on the rev band to attain the speeds I normal cruise on.Originally posted by tanirbhay View PostYes. Maybe duke's 200
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I always get confused 😕 with this

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi guys, a small query regarding sprockets.
What will be the effect if I change the the sprockets from stock 14/39 to 17/36?
Checked in gear commander and the graph curve is great, there is gain in both pickup and topspeed. Please do share your ideas. And if this is feasible please do tell where to buy these sprockets.

Can someone confirm where the rubber tube near the afr screw goes to? Mine is hanging out near the crank case and evrytime I start to tune the afr screw, petrol leaks from itLast edited by allen david; 04-30-2017, 09:33 AM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I don't think so. Sprocketing gives you an option to tweak your power either for initial pick up or top end. It can't increase both. Where will the extra Power come from to give you pick up and top speed? You either stick with stock or compromise on either of the two. Your setup won't give you any pick upOriginally posted by allen david View PostHi guys, a small query regarding sprockets.
