It's pretty sturdy, it holds onto two bolts as opposed to one on the crash guard. The Metal is aircraft grade reinforced aluminium. The chances of bending on impact are lesser.

Reason - checkout price of radiator by bajaj.
Frame sliders ..?? Well one of my friend has them and I don't feel they can withstand impact of our weight+bike in case of fall ,wouldn't put it on my bike even if offered for free.

Just because the radiator might not be expensive to replace does not mean the existing one shouldn't be taken care of. That way any Bajaj component isn't expensive, so does not mean we crash our bikes twice a day and be like "Replacement is cheap".

To each his own. I have spent my hard earned money on my bike and am maintaining it the best way I can. I don't want to have to replace any component no matter how cheap it is.

Have you crashed with these particular sliders by any chance. I think it's intuition and not your experience. Just because you think that it won't hold up does not mean it won't. If you're shown what aircrafts are made of you might stop flying altogether.

Most high end liter class bikes use frame sliders. I have seen flimsier ones doing the job very well.

I've crashed on so called bajaj crashguards at 80km/hr ,tyre slip ,slided some metres and 20km/hr ,instant dropped on left side.
Not even a single scratch anywhere except handle weightbars
I sharer my thoughts keeping in mind my money and no bragging but 4.5 k or 2k is not a big deal for me or anyone here who has spend 1lac on a bike ,but if it is inappropriate spending, then it must be criticised. 220₹ crash guard v/s 4500₹ so called al grade framesliders, and 1200 or so whole radiator vs 2000 ₹ metal sheet ,your choice.

The crash guard holds on one bolt at a point, at two ends, exactly why it bends instantly on high impact as opposed to two bolts on the slider at a single point. Get the idea!?

And your VFM point makes no sense. And stop gauging my level of maturity and worry about yourself.

I will post a photo tomorrow showcasing the the upper and lower attachment bolts to clear any confusion
The bending is due to absorbing of shock caused due to impact ,which helps in releasing the stress (simple material science)
Even if frame sliders don't bend and are prefectly normal in crash, then that means they transferred the shock to chassis which can strategically impact it in longer run,Einstein

Like I said, single bolts at two points. I removed them myself so I know what you're trying to state.

Like I said in my previous posts these are sturdier but again depends on the intensity of impact. Sliders disperse energy by scraping and yes in very severe cases bend too. Simple material science.

I'm just sharing alright, not promoting. I bought them, they're not sponsored. That might be your thing, not mine.

You'll have to open the headlight section to refix it.

1.Take out head light and keep the hole of pilot light towards ground and shake it crazily !
2.Or take a small wire or a stick etc .. Put gum or something that'll hold on to pilot light and pull it out !

Option 1 works out more easily and less time consuming !

Both of you are requested to please stop. Same thing of putting frame sliders can have different perceptions and one has put his hard earned money into it so he must have thought more than these accusations. Also i'm sure he'll give a true review if he finds it less worthy. All said it doesn't give any person any right to ridicule it.

I really liked the frame sliders. Also the person has all the rights to put pics here and share his experience. Thats what we are here for.

At the same time you can give your arguments regarding vfm and aesthetics but still don't target personally my friend.

All things aren't and can't be done with pure logics and emotions do come inbetween. Had i installed it, i would have too posted it here. Rest we all are matured to decide what is good for us and what not.

ROFL ROFL! My dad once tried to change pilots on my ZMA and ended up dropping the old bulb inside the dome. Had to remove the whole fairing to get that thing out.

Back to topic, go with option 1, but dont shake it like crazy, cause worse things can happen, let gravity work for you.

I have ordered CNC 6 way adjustable clutch levers from China. Will take another 30 days to import.

First thing after installation I'll be sharing it with all of you.

I think it's nicer that all of us know our options than me or anyone keeping it to himself.

I'm happy upgrading my ride but it'll make me happier if every individual's ride is Badass!!

I know, but the stock radiator cover is too exposed, refer to the pic I posted for reference. Not only does the mesh protect better, it looks cool too. It's a one time thing so I got it.

I understand what you're trying to say but sliders supposedly do the job well by dispersing shock by scraping.

Personally I think that crash guards don't suit a sports bike. Honestly bro, the stock ones we're too much to take can't think of larger ones [emoji1]

No disrespect meant, but the crash guards are designed with weak point so that it bends on impact, so that the impact to the chassis is reduced.

And regarding the mesh guard for the radiator, I would've gone for a DIY route by meshing the stock one from the rear side, with a slightly restrictive mesh, cause the current one seems a bit too 'open'. And restriction of airflow wont be much of an issue as the stock has a kind of ram air design.

Just my thoughts, plus I consider myself the typical example of 'cheap Indian'.
