Nothing serious. Loosen your clutch a bit. Happened to me. First day after buying the bike I rode 60kms while the clutch was very hard and it was raining heavily too( Yeah crazy right). I couldnt hold a glass of water with my left hand. Next day went to the svc and loosened the clutch and rode for another 40kms the same day. No pain whatsoever.
FULL STORY--> Bought my bike on the 3rd of Feb,2013. It was an Yellow maniac. Rode 2 days happily. No acceleration and below 60 kmph, below 6k rpm. Third day went to the post office to get some parcel. After I come out from the post office, My bike wont start and then I thought maybe it's cold due to the rain. So, I use the choke and start it. The bike starts and everything's fine. But suddenly, it started to give loads of smoke. I was literally crying inside my mind seeing this state of my bike because I also have a pulsar 180 UG2 model since 6 years and not a single problem like this. Also the rickshaw was taking my parcel to my home without knowing my address. So, I had to go with him for some 3 kms. I put the parcel which was my first guitar without even opening it. I rush to the SVC. The main mechanic was doing somebody else's 180. So he said wait for one hour and then I'll see. He opened everything ..checked carburettor, air filter, afr screw, choke, etc. And still loads of smoke after 2 hours of checking.
He then said wait for 30 minutes and I/we(SVC) will give our final decision. Then I called the showroom guy who helped me in purchasing the bike and told him that they had opened everything and still loads of smoke coming out. Then he , the mechanic and the managers everybody talked for a while. After that the showroom guy comes and says, "Let's go.). I asked where.. He says," To get you a new bike." I said what the hell? I asked what happened to this one. The mechanic said "don't worry about it, it's my job to make you tension free..so I got you a new bike. Forget all the tension and cheer up. He said that the engine sealing pipe has bursted due to excess engine oil.
I went and they gave me another bike.. This one too had front disk noises. So I refused to take that one too. Finally they got me another black one which was almost perfect and without touched by anyone. Then all the plastics from the yellow bike was replaced onto the black one because they didn't have any yellow colour at that time. And I rode happily home.

Now after 600kms it's giving 38kmpl after first servicing. However since 100kms I am continuously getting this click-click-click-click noise from the rear portion. It doesnt start suddenly when I go to uni in the morning but after 5-8 kms it starts doing this noise. Already went to the svc and they fastened the chain and lubricated it. The sound stopped for that evening but came again the other day. Also it used to do 60kmph at 5krpm/6th gear but now it does at only 4.5krpm. Nothing has been tampered except the oil change and filter cleaning. Also the bike gives good linear throttle feedback which I am very happy about.

Bike was on stand all the day. In the evening I went to the bike to start. Started the bike but with the big noise ( radiator also started to run with the bike! ) I felt something is wrong. I pressed the RED button to stop the bike but the noise continued so I turned off the key but noise continued!! Now I was bit panic! I turn on the key no change, I turn On the RED button, the bike started on its own without pressing the start button!!
Now I was sure in trouble cause I cannot turn off the bike and get away... So I called the guy from Bajaj showroom. ( Luckily Yesterday I notedown his number!!! May be for this event!) I called him and explained him the situation. He said "Sir, Can you drive bike to showroom?" I said "I can". He said "please come I will check it and fix it." So I started driving, Showroom is around 12KM from my house. On my way I noticed horn is not working. After around 6 KM, Low battery indicator started to blink. There was signal right after that, so I stopped at signal. Bike immediately was dead, no electrical were working. So I again called the Bajaj showroom guy. I explained him everything. SO he sent 2 guys, they took my bike and also said "Sorry Sir!" and said tomorrow you will get your bike we will check what has gone wrong and will try to give it by 12 O clock.
Faced the same exact prob with my Yamaha Gladiator twice. A lot of wiring had to be changed. I was charged, around Rs 300 then. I was a noob then, hence cant tell you any details of those works. First time, he just charged the battery, everything was fine for 5 days. Second time, he changed the wiring, everything was perfect for next 4 months, till i sold the bike. But yes, I know, how scary it is....
If it happens the next tym, disconnect the baterry, wait for some time, reconnect it, start it(It should be fine) and take it to svc.

Thanks for sharing. I always have a feeling that Bajaj does very very poor field testing. What they do is release the bike in a hurry and do the rest of the testing with peoples money However, if you had similar instance with Yamaha then I am in for surprise!

bro from my experience I have done all sort of things to my bike and all in vain...

If your vehicle is unregistered then go and change immediately.
Another thing you can do is message customercare of bajaj and tell the complaint as I have done two times.. My vehicle number is TN33 BB9705

Then the engine and frame numbers in the RC, insurance policy and on the bike may be different if the bike was insured and registered in your name earlier. That means you are riding an unregistered 'stolen' bike without insurance now, which will make legal problems in future. Check and ensure that those numbers on the bike, RC and insurance policy are the same.

My bike is 5 months old and of course registered. And has been through a fall.

As a last effort I took the bike to the svc today. Explained the problem. They acknowledged the bend in the right handle bar and it will be replaced. Then I had to explain the fork issue multiple times and I ended up calling the supervisor and had him check the stopper. The guy said the stopper is damaged from the fall and it has to be taken off and a new piece welded in its place. So, this time I hope it will be rectified. I told them that if they don't do this job perfectly I will not take my bike back.

I will contact Bajaj customer care if the svc people cannot rectify the problem this time.

Have you had the service people check the stopper? If not please have it checked.
