Also, there are signs of mixture leaking upward along the thread...appears oil-ish? Maybe you should consider replacing the plug because it looks like the threads are not sealing properly..

I have rotate screw about 5 half times(2.5)
If you have no issue about engine smoothness at low and medium revs, let it be at 2.5

Ok.does oil on the thread cause any problem. Bike run about 12000km in 3 years.what average you are getting at what speed.what are the parts that need to be changed or replaced.
What is the average life of ns engine riding under 100kmph speed and with some time redlining the bike in gears once in a while.

Does lean mixture cause any problem in the 200ns liquid cooled bike. Riding speed not more than 80kmph about 12 km one way.
Does it effect the engine life.

It enters through the tank most of the times. If the overflow hole under the fuel filler cap is clogged then there is no way for the water to escape as a result it enters in the fuel and gets mixed with the fuel.

Brother Ns has three spark plug so it always show lean side on plug. lean mixture not good for long riding. So always set it between lean and rich.
Regarding spark plug thread oil , during service the mechanic put some oil on plug and then put it back. i have seen many times personally and once i asked he said it will go easily 🤔

Guys, My office is 50km away from home. I would to like to go to office on my NS but friends are telling me that commuting 100km perday will have adverse effect on engine. Should I take bus or is it okay to commute on NS? If I do so.. what are all the things need to be taken care of very month to keep the engine healthy?

Hii saran93 I do ride my ns for commuting to my work place and back home, on an average my daily ride comes to around 70 kms. My ride is 35 kms of highways and rest in city traffic. I'm not facing any kind of issue for last 1.5 years.. You just need to service your bike at regular intervals and then you can totally rely upon this beast.. I would only suggest you to not go for Ns you will be riding in city traffic conditions.. Because in the city traffic the engine gets really hot and you can feel your legs burning..

This reminds me my earlier days where i rode almost 68 Kms daily on my 125cc discover all inside Chennai city traffic. Only major trouble was the bike felt harsh after closing 60kph. That made me feel uncomfortable... With NS this is nothing, provided you have a healthy fit body because the harder suspension on long run can create trouble to your body on bad road conditions, but sure not for your bike [emoji6]

Mate I go 180+ kms to and fro in my ns at least thrice in a week and 90 kms to and fro rest of the days. Just keep your bike serviced on time and keep an eye on your bike just check it for leaks, chain slack etc.

And yes there is absolutely no problem in this.

                          Cheers

I also set it on 3 turns and I always play between 2.5-3.5 turns. I tried 1.5 turns to 5 turns. Lean mixture gives problem in High revvs, bike struggle to hit redline.
Personally I dont like Bajaj bikes fueling.
