Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
For your requirement Bajaj oil is sufficient. At city traffic and on shorted distance I believe you may not have to rev harder. Consider spending on Motul if you plan for very frequent short trips say 50-100 km, like that. Else, Bajaj oil is more than enough, just keep the drain period of 1500-2500, you should be okay.Originally posted by yasirfz16 View Postwhich is the best engine oil to use for my NS. I rode it hardly 15km per day in city traffic for my colg puprpose so which oil should I prefer? I want least vibration with high pickup
I've had used Bajaj oil for several thousands of KM for normal and sane rides, it is decent enough and no troubles like oil leakage, etc. Also it is cheaper. But if you thrash a lot, then there needs some change in the prescriptionLast edited by jbm_guy; 09-06-2016, 09:09 PM.

I have been using Motul 3100 Gold Engine Oil for last 15k KM's and I'm quite happy with it. It costs around 380/Liter and way better than the Bajaj oil. It'll last upto 3k KM's.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Actually I rev harder some times and Bajaj oil doesnt satisfied me in P220 so I am not sure whether it will give good results in 200Ns or notOriginally posted by jbm_guy View PostFor your requirement Bajaj oil is sufficient. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Well every engine is unique, why I state so is because I have tried Bajaj oil, Motul 5100 and finally I am on 7100. Bajaj oil is not bad after all, it is decent on low revs and will act good if you ride at very sane speeds (Like mentioned in your run-in sheet)Originally posted by yasirfz16 View PostActually I rev harder some times and Bajaj oil doesnt satisfied me in P220 so I am not sure whether it will give good results in 200Ns or not

Besides so appreciations from other friends here on 5100 for it's smoothness, I found Bajaj oil was giving better NVH than Motul 5100 in my NS, while many others denied the same. After such experience, I threw away the remaining 5100 as none of the workshop guys accepted that for a small cashback. Now with 7100, higher revs are better now plus the drain interval is long, keeps you free from frequent oil change worries

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
While I have not used it personally, but my office colleague uses it for his NS. He keeps commenting that it gels extremely well for hard revving and to witness that he has punched some holes here and there, removed the rear tyre hugger and some mods to look like a fighter on roadOriginally posted by royal racer View PostHow is the Motul 300v 15w-50
and i read somewhere few owners using Motul 10w-50 FS.
. Well, I have ridden his ones within campus and felt nothing different from mine, but that is very restricted area. But ouch that costs a lot more and I better not think about it.
I'm using 7100 20w50, but finding some difficulties sometimes because of change of weather ever since I moved to Bangalore. Previously used 15w50 which didn't show such behaviors.

1. Solution for bike slaying to right side?
2. Kind of hiccups at around 80KPMH
3. Possible way of decreasing vibration on handle bar and tank area
4. Buzzing sound from right rear foot rest
5. Ideas for installing phone holder ( reliable ones ) rather then on RVM
