But the happiness didn't last long today again I was again facing those hiccups. These are mainly between 5-6k rpm at 5th or 6th gear. Got the rubber hose replaced as well that connects the carb to engine head, but no good.

    Please help guys.

Bro, if your running on the spark plugs and haven't replaced them ever since you bought your bike then get them changed. You will for sure feel a lot change.

And please help me with my problem if know any solution.

        Hi guys,
Today while riding to my office my NS suddenly died on the middle of the road. There was no display and the tachometer needle is stuck at 4k rpm. Its completely dead now. No horn, no headlights, taillights and no starting of engine. When i got off the bike I noticed a smoke from below the exhaust and it smelled like some burnt plastic. I am worried. Is this an issue of faulty electrical wiring?? Plz reply guys!
P.S: From past few days, when I used to start my NS, the console used to reset like we turn on the ignition, and also the clock resets.

This seems to be a battery issue, please get the battery checked (and replaced if required), if that doesn't work out, the stator coil (the charger for battery) might be having issues

No bro.. i did have the sparks changed at about 12900k .. right now i am at 19000k on the odo and counting. But i will have the sparks checked or rather replaced and the oil filter replaced and see if it makes a difference as it did in your case.

My issue is kind of irregular. Its not everyday that it happens. Wondering what causes it.

The cause may be due to water in fuel system (fuel tank , carburetor etc) . I changed everything from spark plugs to all filters but it persisted . As a last hope I cleaned the carb with carb cleaner & now its back to life. Earlier ,after 2-3 km warm up, acceleration was not smooth. In neutral when u suddenly accelerate till say 10k rpm & leave the throttle it used to come down suddenly till 5k rpm then a small pause (very small but noticeable) then idling . After cleanup everything is fine now . Getting a proper 40+kmpl FE (rainy season ,can't ride above 60kmph ).

                  Used this cleaner ,

Can any one point out what could be the exact reason of getting a pulsating front brake? Having this issue since the last service. Planning in getting it checked this Sunday

Pulsating disc brakes denotes damaged disc plate.

To use carb spray, remove the air filter start the bike , give full throttle & spray the cleaner directly into air intake . Engine may get stopped. Start it again , repeat this step until u get white smoke from exhaust. Refit the air cleaner . Adjust AFR if necessary.

Back here after long long time. NSians from Bangalore, please suggest a good mechanic or Bajaj SVC on the east side. I am sick of that stupid Khivraj SVC near Marathahalli. The one in Banashankari - Auro Services is sort of OK but have to push those guys too much to sort issues and its far now. Anyone know any other good option?? How about some local mechanic shop whose good with NS?? Need to do a lot a stuff this time as its 32k km on ODO now.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

i opened up bike for some DIY work today and was surprised and shocked to find Engine oil on one of spark plug thread. other spark plug (Left side when sitting on bike) is fine and was brown in color with no trace of oil, coudn't open centre spark plug because it is placed weirdly and i didn't wanted to spend more time.

so oil on spark plug seem like a bad sign, some gasket or something is leaking i guess. do you guys had this issue and why is there oil on one spark plug only? one question about spark plugs too, they are of some CHAMPION brand. should i get them changed?

spotted another issue, shocker is leaking oil, last time i took bike for shocker issue ASS guys told me it is fine, softer suspension is good for backbone and blah blah blah.
in addition i noticed Engine also has a leak from below the left spark plug area. not sure what is leaking, cant be chain lube.

all in all i see bike is starting to fell apart in just 13k kms.very bad experience. i hope ASS guys are able to fix them without messing bike up for me.

Hey guys. So I just got my brand new Pulsar 200 NS this past Friday and it's been great so far however I'm not sure if it's just me or what but since the very first ride I've been riding slowly as required for the engine to run in properly however it seems that the bike is very very smooth already. I remember on my previous motorcycle(Chinese motorcycle), the engine was very rough at the beginning until about 1,500 km. Since I got the ns, I've never been past 5k rpm's. My friend was telling me that maybe its just a very smooth bike and so on but I'm not sure if I should go a bit higher in rpm's or just keep them below 5k. I would like to know your experiences. I don't mind the bike being so smooth however it feels as if the engine is telling me to go faster by how smooth it feels. As for now, I'll continue to apply the run in method until 2,500 km.
