Why have u left top two screw area blank.

I used 2 windshield screws there which acts as cushion so that wind shield doesn't vibrate and it even adds a variable angle which can be set for best result.
Without the two screws u may face some rattling.

Bro I left the upper two screws empty because I plan to get a number plate holder from the V15 up there. About the rattling, I did not face any rattling on the way to work on uneven roads however the windshield was shaking a lot causing the entire console to shake - guaged it to be lack of support. If I get windshield screws in there would it also reduce the vibration of the windshield ?

Btw thanks bro for this DIY .. worked wonders ! Where did you order those adjustable levers ? cost ?

Mods - Is it possible that this post be @nikzcool also be posted on the DIY thread for easy location when the need be ?

So pls advice.
I think it is possible. Why do you wanna change your mudguard ? You can just get rid of the tyre hugger... Wont that work for you bro ?

Guys....Good news...
Glad our NS is gonna be back...

Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS ABS Spotted Outside Pune | MotorBeam

Major changes are FI+abs (I wish it's dual channel and not a another gimmick like RS). Should be with par with Duke 200 in performance I believe. But expected prices are above AS... oh my god

Bro, why would you wanna keep two number plates?. GauravD, nice mod. You guys make me jealous....soo many AS shields are doing rounds on NS now....I wish to have it fit, enjoy reduced wind blast, but then I don't like the look sadly for a naked bike, feels less aggressive
xplod566, bro post your Duke 200 pic with wind shield....

A single channel ABS is NOT a Gimmick.. it is like the having the ABS switched off from the rear wheels (like on some Adventure bikes.. which allows riders to lock and slide the rear wheel).

A front wheel lock needs just a split second to result in a fall... it is scary and majority of front wheel locks result in falls.

With Dual Channel ABS always on.. one can't intentionally slide the rear wheel around.

A Single Channel ABS is like riding a bike with ABS in Off Road Mode.

Yes, tyre hugger is removable but it cant protect the pillion with small mud . So i want to install rear mudguard.

Is it possible to fit 150/60 R17 tyre?

Makes sense. I've never fallen down locking the rear wheel deliberately or in panic. Under panic locking, the brain gets a sec to think and lessen pressure on the pedal. If you don't do that, well, you'll fall most probably. I've never fallen down locking the front wheel either, but I've locked it a few times and totally lost control. Don't know how I escaped (must be God's grace, what else)!!

Exactly Front Wheel Locks are very scary and one hardly recovers from it.. you were lucky to escape.

While off roading its necessary to lock the rear wheels to get traction from the loose soil/mud.

I havent done it but I had been suggested on this to get 150/60 however I passed, so I guess it is possible.

Indeed great news that it will be re launched with much more features and that to at competitive price.
i am looking for a bike above 200 cc and this is the best looking naked out there.
Bajaj bring it on fast, my money is ready to grab it on launch day.

I understand that too. It still isn't a life saver. Also note, front wheel locking is very rare (but fatal if locked) on a good road with good Tyre. As the whole weight shifts toward the front, the front wheel needs more braking effort to lock the wheels unlike rear. In my 16 months of hard and soft riding, I've NEVER locked my front, no matter how harder I braked, same with my prev bike with front disc. That is one another reason why front brakes are equipped with disc as it needs good stopping power even though it's also prone to wheel lock..well I experimented several times after buying NS just to get used to braking and all and have never locked no matter how harder I braked, instead it only resulted like a stoppie ...but rear locks need no mentioning, just locks under 50-60% of braking itself. Only place where I scare of front wheel lock is on wet and gravel which is where single abs can help you brake confidently.

My point is, single channel ABS still doesn't guarantee 100% risk free braking. Plus, most of the panic braking goes to rear first (how many trigger front first and rear next?).... now makes sense?.

Plus, we are not buying it for off-road riding or for stunts here... Generally ABS means confidence, with single abs, I somehow failed to get 100% confi, well thats my opinion.

Regarding how many part of your post - most of the riders who know correct braking. If you dear sir, hit the rear brakes first under panic braking situations, it's time you unlearn and start from scratch.
ABS or no ABS, one should always hit the front brakes 1st, that is simple physics. Distribution of brake usage comes later.

AS owners thinking NS is inferior is outright retarded. They are basically the same bike.

The RS owners, well, they have ABS and Fi and double projectors, so............
