Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Oh. Where can i find in amazon? I thought the one I posted was Philips extreme vision and do note that it is one qty as per the description.Originally posted by allen david View PostI can't say that this bulb is the best,, but it's better than stock, if you want higher illumination in 55/60 segment, you can go for Philips extreme vision or osram night breaker plus..
Seems OSRAM is much better than philips according to this

Yes, Osram gives a bit more whitish light and appears brighter. But in foggy conditions, Philips which has a slight yellowish tinge would fare better. And I'm not using eitherOriginally posted by vvk1999 View PostOsaram night breaker unlimited is better than philips extreme vision.

, I'm using Hella Rally (original, imported). Pretty happy with it.

Yes that's true , but we don't have foggy conditions here(South Maharashtra) so it works great here .Originally posted by krixna View PostYes, Osram gives a bit more whitish light and appears brighter. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Oh, I don't like those whitish and blueish tint that comes out. Extreme vision provides more illumination, but the change in color temp will make it washed on other bright sources. Experience yourself and then go for them All H4 cup holder based bulbs are readily swap-able. If you are opting for 100/90, you might want to consider wiring changes with a better ceramic cup holder. krixna has been using such setup for a long. I tried to do it, but the local mechanic messed it up, now living with 60/55w. 100/90w is a lot better and I found on a modded bike where 90w (low beam itself was sufficient 90% times).Originally posted by jhbalaji View PostOh. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I used to feel flat spot in 5-6K rpm in top gear when I purchased it with 15K kms on odo.
To eliminate it, have got carb cleaned and now that range is increased to 5k-6.5k rpm.
Upon revving bit hard in lower gears and keep shifting above 7K, I don't feel any lag, even in top gear till the time inertia created in lower gear is maintained.
Did study CV carb (yeah, am new to vacuum slides) and came to know about TPS. I was going through previous posts regarding TPS and found this interesting.
can you please elaborate it bit more? may be it can solve my problem.Originally posted by krixna View PostTurned the TPS clockwise by about 10 degrees. Engine is rev-happy now!!
Thanks.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Great news. But I see lot of dissimilarities from the concept model (well, it is expected). Hope they don't go crazy numbers like D390 and end up spoiling the engine and ride... I'm expecting a decent 36-38 bhp of power so that the engine will not be stressed and can live longer and give one hell of cruiser effectOriginally posted by Ujjwal96 View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Its located on the left side of carburetor, above choke. Tps is a plastic electronic module in ns200 not like any other bajaj bike.Originally posted by black asp View Postwhere is the tps in 200 NS located . i meant is it similar to other pulsars which have a moving magnet in the cable pulley with a reed switch or is it something else?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

Noticed some oil leakage near the wire outlet from magnet side . Asked the ASC about the rubber gourmet from where the oil seems leaking. But it's not listed in the spare part manual. As per the ASC it is part of the whole stator assembly . So for just the piece of rubber i need to buy the whole stator assembly.
Is it so ?
Pls advice. I am in big dilemma now.
