Calling all the motorheads. The 200NS is an absolute machine till now. It just under 30 days and I am done with 2778 kilometers so far including an unplanned 800 kilometer unplanned journey. The machine was bought in Oct'2013 but seldom used by the previous owner and had just three services over this three years. Its my due to get it perfected from now.
The last oil change was performed at 5500 kilometers but no mechanicals is touched. Considering its 2.5 year old machine, I know some parts need to be replaced on time span (oils and what not?) and some on usage span (Sprocket/Chain at say, 15k kms). I am planning to get all the preventive maintenance done before something rupture out; please do point out what are the things I am supposed to do on bike which is 2.5 years old and done 6600 kms
    Some I thought so are

    1. Radiator oil (The manual reads so 20k kms or 2 years)
    2. Fork Oil ( I don't know but someone randomly gave me this tip to replace it)
    3. Fuel hoses (The manual reads so xk kms or 2 years)
    4. Brake fluid (The manual reads so xk kms or 2 years)
    5. Brake hose/rubber parts of brake master cylinder and caliper (The manual reads so xk kms or 2 years). If this so, can I go to steel braided pipes? and which one to use? The KTMs or something else?

Below is the maintenance chart and I really need your (@any1991, @GauravD and @vvk1999 @krixna @sharadh @vivek7593 @powerShift @NitSpeed200 @Itzli @deep007 @Durvesh @jbm_guy) assistance in arriving the inputs I need to send it to the ASC

      Preventive maintenance:
      1. Engine oil: mineral every 1500-2000 kms, semi synth 4500-5000, full synth 6500-7000
      2. Engine coolant: Every summer
      3. Fork oil: Depends on riding, lot of braking, bad roads, heavy load - Every 10000 kms
      4. Fuel hose/fuel filter: Every summer
      5. Brake fluid: Depends on riding, lot of braking, bad roads; every time the brakes begin to feel spongy
      6. Brake hose: Rubber; every 10000kms, steel braided rs 200/p220/duke200-390 every 40000-50000kms.

Charts are charts to be followed, but listening and understanding your bike will keep you on the road.

          1. radiator coolant: in start of each summer or 20k kms whichever comes first.
          2. fork oil: i personally don't replace fork oil till the time oil seal doesn't get busted. can somebody pls let me know if I am going right? if no, whats wrong in it?
          3. fuel pipe: whenever it loosens its softness.
          4. brake fluid: since i used my previous ride extensively, i used to top up 3 times and replace in 4th time.
          5. brake hose: in my more than 1.5L kms on HH Hunk, i have never replaced brake hose. its still doing good. pump iside master cylinder is to be replaced when brake lever feels too loose or bit stiff.

am too weak when it comes to electrical or electronic, only thing i can suggest is, inspect fuses and wiring harness for any damage.

Good. Now how about those 3-way adjustable clutch lever?. How good are they and how easy are they compared to stock?.

That is one reason why you should always shift to neutral when are on signal. Clutch plates (as they are multiple) will not disengage 100%. so pulling clutch for a long time in gear will slowly result in clutch plate wear. Though this is minute, I wouldn't do it. The same applies when you let the engine die with the help of clutch. But again, on Bajaj bikes never trust neutral, I have seen it slipping to gear 2 quite a few times.... Careful... I always turn off the bike if the wait if even less than 20-30 secs.

Fuse first, then engine kill switch. Pass key has direct connection to battery via ignition key lock unlike the rest. So chances are that the engine kill switch has failed or not working. Fuse I doubt as the pass light should not bypass the fuse circuit.

                Hey,
The above posted are very few of supposedly many. May I know what else I should add into this list??

I see a lot of mods in your bike. What would be the cost associated in upgrading to steel braided lines? And do suggest me which steel braided lines I should go with

Also, how well the Michelin street radial handles? I see 150/70 here but costs whopping 5.8k. Is worth the upgrade? And is it true it lasts more than 20k kms? I thought they are soft rubber and ideally would last lesser

Head light - Osram Bilux is how good when compared to Philips 60 diamond vision bulbs? Definitely I need to upgrade the stock lights

Also, how well the Michelin street radial handles? Better than eurogrips and lasts long, 25000 kms and still has about 2mm tread depth I see 150/70 here but costs whopping 5.8k. Head light - Osram Bilux is how good when compared to Philips 60 diamond vision bulbs? Both have the same throw and spread, phillips diamond has a more bluish tinge Definitely I need to upgrade the stock lights

It is Throttle Position Sensor and is fixed on the carburetor, connected by 3 wires.

Can't say, maybe! No harm in getting it checked though.

I am facing the same issue as Mr. Officer. At or under 6k rpm bike doesn't feel free to cruse its like something is pulling it back, while accelerating hard it doesn't show any sign of hiccups but when I increase the speed gradually I do feel that its kind of reluctant to go past 6k rpm you can call it a flat spot.

Same here bro how to explain and make them understand is the major issue whenever I complain about anything there's always a same answer I think they have been trained to ignore and overlook the problems that customers complain about.

I thought your plans were to replace with new carb, what happened?.

You guys know how bad the ASC are. They dont support any sort of help at all.Its sad to see.

Also changing Carb wont help because card doesnt die so fast. You can change the diapharm or the spring but i think that should fix it.Would cost around 500 including labour.

Did not go in for it bro. Somehow was not feeling comfortable with it. I do not know if I updated you guys or not but it was an issue with the accelerator cable. Even though the slack was perfectly done up there was some lag being created due to a wire issue at the carb side connection - once replaced 80% of the pickup is back.

Trying to sort out the remainder of 20%.
