Well the Bajaj service centers (at least from my experience and my visits) use huge barrels to stock engine oil and it doesn't come as bottles. So you don't need to be worried here. Plus 100-200ml will be provided for free to top up. Last time I found the oil was low, the svc guy gave me about 200 ml of oil without any charge. Of course the oil is not much of worth but sometimes they are generous too . If you feel gears jamming or not doing gear slot well, then it may be the time to change it. Depends on ride type the Bajaj engine oil can last anywhere from 2000 Kms to 5000 Km (Bajaj says, not me )

The visor helps you ride comfortable a bit by eluding from direct wind blast. 90-100 kph ride will be a bit easier and the bike might need little less fuel to work against wind blast. Initially I ordered them through SVC, but couldn't source it in Chennai. Even I asked xplod566 to send it to me from b'glore. However once I visited svc, I asked the svc guy to try to placing the AS visor close with mine, but the angle is so lean. Besides, a fully faired bike can do 110-120 kph very well. I have felt nothing much on wind blast on CBR250r ride, but the same on my NS was really heavy and many times the air got deflected toward my chest and some on helmet...

I usually tie big bag in front of the tank, so that way it blocks much of the wind from hitting your chest and some on helmet on touring, but at the cost of blocking your display console...but hey I find that really helpful. With that setup I was doing 110-115 kph continuously for an hour or more.Without that, I find doing that speeds is not comfortable.....and hey I got an average speed of 90-95 kph and that was my best ever record

I don't drive at those speeds but it really helps at speed above 60kmph but sometimes i feel steering heavy to steer . Fit the visor in such a way that , the rider should not see the front part of visor while sitting at driver position. This way it will be more effective.
Nice mod anyway. Sure it will reduce the wind blast for you and it's worth it. But don't you find the glass leaning too much?. or don't know if I tried positioning it way too forward .

NS had done without visor at 85 (Overall Avg) for three hours continuously

I thought visor would bring my average up and reduce much more winds on the chest and around head though I wear the bomber jacket for the rides.

that's great number, three hours continuous ride at high speed is hard to imagine for my body. I have had a continuous saddle time for 2.5 hours max with iron butt and shoulder pains as a result. That too for a distance of 120 km because of too many detours, checking google map routes every few some KMs, worst of my trip ever. Guess what, out of that 120+ kms, I detoured in wrong route for about 34kms. So the actual distance to the place was somewhere around 95km only . The problem was, once we take a road, we start hitting close to 100 easily in no time, as a result in few minutes of time we would cover huge Kms and once we realize "Shit" this doesn't seem like the route......Oops...20 minutes wasted.. So it was then I ordered a mobile mount for my NS. With that mount I find riding easier on unknown routes....but find it hard to operate with hand gloves...my mobile doesn't have glove mode..one another prob.

Yeah, the higher the top end, the better average. However I wouldn't say ride was superb, but for a naked bike this is the result and we have to live with that. Many times I drop to 95-98 kph which I feel pretty comfort and also wind blast is very manageable. Yeah I too wear a tight jacket with pads, but it's the helmet that goes for a toss on high speed....

LOL. I took three breaks of (10-15) and still made under three hours (I havent stopped the log). All thanks goes to bomber jacket. Though its too large I didn't had any feeling of windblast due to the thick leather and inner lining.
Yes, the machine is fun to ride when you rev and when you cruise. On serious note its a very dangerous sport in the present India, I had three occasions where I was asked to meet the Lord right away. Even though the machines are well equipped but those who ride them are Indians. I still remember the humongous lorry laned to the left in no time without the slightest indication; for a moment, I would have shaved into the rear, if the other Ace driver haven't laned himself to the mud.

yes, your jacket could help a lot. I have had fastest rides as I said, 90-95 kph average. However it was on 4 way highway which is no big deal. You better watch out. I consider 90-98 kph very comfortable and safer. and we don't have ABS....how foolish is this...?

On one trip on the 4 way highway, a new i20 elite (about 100 meters in front of me) took an U turn from the opposite way into my way (direction) and I predicted he was going to stick with lane 1, and I was doing about 95+ kph without slowing down on my lane 2. but all of a sudden that crazy idiot just turned indicators alone without seeing back and swiped the full road and came in front my lane in no time.... Boom........thought I would have collided.... panic braking, Tyre screeching, heavier heart beat......a small fishy backside...LUCKY but somehow by god's grace I maneuvered to the right of him. I took some time and slowed down near to him and scolded him enough and took my ride back with peace....ALWAYS WATCH OUT WITH NEWER CARS-THEY COULD BE A LEARNER

When I had the AS200 it did wonders. This visor is awesome and looks best at NS.but ya as had fairing so that also helped.i remember doing 125 continuously for 20-30 minutes sitting upright without any issues at all

Motorbiking. The government which doesnt not have any laws in place. The country I live in has the ubiquitous law as when I turn Indicators on I assume that all the vehicles on the other lane would stop; the lane switching from right to left can be done without any indications.

Yes. The government is so good that they have passed laws to ABS when the entire India still doesn't have roads and rules and tests in place. I would always pat on any car. Another reasoning would be, people who own small cars would be learners, people who own very old/used cars would be learners; people who own luxury cars would be frantic, and the list goes. No matter what I am still driving in the same country which permits grunting old age AshLey and TATA with Lambos.

Thanks bro. I planned to the mod but somehow I am pushing it as it makes less appealing to me. And why did you used P220 screws instead of AS200 visor screws?

your frustration is right. i too feel bit same. there is no point in blaming govt unless ppl understand others problems. we have set of rules in place, but its attitude of ppl which makes roads unsafe. silly assholes exists even in developed countries. accidents happen there too. i blame govt on road conditions and not for rules. they can't assign bunch of cops on every divider cutting, on every speed braker or between each lane. ppl here just want thier way. they are unaware of live and let Iive funda. they don't analyze thier actions and its results.

best way is to slow them down and politely explain what wrong they did, majority listens you and accept their mistakes.

i took these morons as opportunity to be more alert and skillful while on saddle. they are indirectly increasing my knowledge of worst case scenarios and i in turn working in more strategies.

i am not distributing gyan here, jist few things which i learned over period of time. most of us are doing what i am going to say. pls add more points if i an unaware of it.

be in others drivers notice. dont assume that they saw you.
make sure driver in front have noticed you before overtaking them. you can check in his mirrors if he looked at you.

dont trust thier indicators. check for front tire deviation.

dont ride in thier blind zones

use horn and brakes adequately.

don't assume each driver as sensible and skillful.

before overtaking from left or right, try to read drivers mind for his probable set of actions.

last and equally important, k3ep praying to Almighty for safe return.

all these points can be followed at the cost of our average speed but this is only thing which we can do in order to keep our passion alive.

backet is bolt on. no need to cut anything. remove two bolts and entire bracket with number plate comes in hand.

Which one? just the number plates?
The RS and the Ns have a different set of front mounting brackets. On the NS, seeing the pics of vvk, opening the number plate bolts will drop of the number plate and the met sheet kinda thing below it. Its not the same on the RS i believe judging from the pic you attached.

I pray for traction I can keep
But if I spin and begin to slide
I pray, dear God please protect my ride
And if I lay down my bike today
I pray to God I walk away...
I walk away to ride another day
