or explore the used market further and you're likely to find many other NS' with lesser Kms on ODO in same price this one's being offered to you. probably even a 2013 model, under 65-70k easily.
There is nothing wrong in grabbing this 14k old NS but the thing is the market doesn't recognize the true quality of the engine (the main thing to be checked for a used bike) of 200NS, hence it's got a a low resale value for no reason. So why get this when u can find other NS' with lower ODO reading. Search.
Thanks for the response. I think i will look for some more options before I finalise.

Just got my last official service done. Finally free from Bajaj
Does any Bangalore riders here know a good mechanic or a private service centre? All my bike's service was done at Auto Service (except for first one) & totally happy with them. They do a really good job. However, would really love to try some one else just to be sure that I am not missing on anything.

I know dude.. But the Idiots i went to in Bangalore are very adamant about the issue... Never listens to me.. I'm back in Mysore now and i know a guy in the SVC. I'm gonna give it to them in one shot now. Ask them to check everything once and for all. Oil passages and everything. Cam lobes seem fine. And the intake rocker arm is fine, still the same one i got with the bike.
Now waiting for a cash flow and free time (they want 2 days) since they wont take it under warranty (bajaj won't agree since the chain is a wear and tear part and the bike has run 30k already) and also along with that my bike is only a year old, the Idiots will never agree for warranty.

I agree that auto service does very good service. But don't go to them for engine work and other major work, they don't know much about the inside workings of our bikes (they get trained for dukes i believe).. They were experimenting with my bike when i went with my issues.. Do see if you can find better garages..

          But maybe it's just me...

Well luckily I am yet to face any issues with regards to Engine. They don't mess up basic stuff like other Bajaj SVC.
Any way, do you know any other alternative for regular services?

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

Thanks. Is it authorized bajaj service center or general bike servicing. Because I have to give my bike for free servicing

                    • Hi guys... So my bike has done around 850kms... I have ran into a problem with the bike. When the bike is straight and I try to start the bike the digital meter with tachometer will die... It would just go blank and won't come up... If I try to keep it on side stand it works most of time. The problem is random and can come anytime... It was frustrating to explain it to service center as it won't happen when in service center... But eventually the SC guys tool the bike to check... Now its been two days and they are still trying to figure out the problem... Don't know what to do. How to get it fixed asap..

Tell them to check the wiring.. must be some loose contact or a problem with the connections.

                          • Hi folks...
I switched to motul 3000 15w50 a few days back after my first service @505 kms.....now its almost 750kms.

Just wanted to share my experience with motul....well the engine runs alot smoother now, gearbox also feels a little less heavy as the shifts are less clunky, but the vibes that creeped up after the first sevice are still there.
Getting a steady mileage of 37-38 kpl, (calculated using reserve to reserve method.)

Going to switch to motul 5100 after my 2nd service..

It is an authorised Bajaj SVC. They even do service for KTM & Kawasaki
