Actually TVS ATT230 uses the same rubber compound, same quality of Eurogrip. Offers same level of grip or slip, our front is good for the price anyway..
This fact was confirmed by a TVS person through an email to my friend.

      Dear Mr. Achal Uppal ,

Both TVS and Eurogrip brand is from TVS tire only.

Quality we maintained for both brand is same.

FOR PUSAR 200NS WE HAVE FOLLOWING TIRES IN MARKET

      1.
      2.

Above both tires is same specification and quality we maintained

Please go ahead with this sizes .

Believe it or not, I might just end up retaining the Euroslip tyres. Bang for the buck just like the motorcycle it is fitted onto. complete set for 3500-3700 INR, front 1600 INR , rear 2000-2100 INR

current status of rear tyre, still got some life.

Why not get the MRF Zapper FX at INR 1950 and Revz-S at INR 3000? Comes up to less than 5K and not much more than the Eurogrips.
Perhaps up North they might be cheaper.

Money is not the issue here bro. I could spend more on better tyres but I feel these Eurogrips are absolutely adequate for all kind of riding conditions including leaning into corners, chosen for the NS for a reason. They're the best as far as the handling is concerned.. best flickability and acceleration. However, they do fail to deliver a smooth ride quality & reliability under braking in wet conditions.
You are correct about MRF Zapper FX, it's a definite alternative to our front Eurogrip tyre which is already sticky enough. But I may try it just for a change, thanks for reminding abt this tyre.
Revz-S which offers great traction on dry tarmac is clearly the best stock rear replacement tyre for riders inexperienced with NS' handling. But believe me, the rear Eurogrip isn't too far behind on dry tarmac and offers better traction (if any) than Revz-S in wet conditions. This is as told by few people using the same tyre in their 200NS. Our rear Eurogrip is more reliable in varied terrains.. I think I've understood this tyre's behaviour very well and I don't wanna play with bike's dynamics. Hence, probably, I'm going to stick to it ! Still a few thousand Kms to go till I change, so u never know..

No, dude.. eurogrip might be the same company, but the 2 models are completely different.. The stock tyres are hard compound rubber wheras the ATT230 are made of soft compound rubber. The TVS person must be talking about the quality of the tyres, rather than the compunds of the tyre..

People are being too sensative with eurogrip. Maybe the word 'euroslips' is eating 'em up. I'm doing good with my eurogrip,i ain't afraid to tackle corner with it on high speed. Don't believe me? anyone's welcome to join me for a ride. It still provide decent grip on wet condition. I ain't afraid to lean my ride but i'm not comfortable with the brake in wet condition. It loses its charm. So the gradual process won't work so while braking hard wheel tends to get lock that most on the Nsians complains so i prefer engine braking at that moment. I ain't trying to convince anyone to keep eurogrip. Its just i've adjusted myself with it with my confidence level.

Hello fellow NSians. Just got my black NS delivered today evening. All seems well. Any mandatory stuff I should know of other than the run-in? And upgrades with regard to the pilot lamps I do? And can anyone suggest places in Bangalore where I could purchase good LED pilot lamps.
It never gets easier, you just go faster.

Got my bike serviced for the first time.
It has been good experience so far, i have been getting a steady 37-38 kpl so far.

                    Things nothiced after the service-

Gearbox is a bit smoother than before.
Even though they cleaned and lubed the chain, i can still hear that distinct noise that comes when the chain need lubing
Even though the engine is smooth at low revs i Can feel abit more vibes at the handlebar after 4k revs.

But the bajaj a.s.s. is really appalling. The managers are simply rude, even though they get the job done but the overall experience is bad.
I got my bike serviced at the station near rithala, can anybody suggest a better service station in delhi??

If it is soft compound, it is sure to be better, because the eurogrips dont work as they are way too hard compounded tyres , made for longetivity, but what will the euroslips do lasting long ,If the rider wont.

Yup.. but the eurogrips are actually good, though only for dry and hot weather.. and once they warm up they arent actually very bad.. but theyre seriously bad when its wet or cold or both..

Depends on climate of your place, how you use your bike, and also the confidence you have on the bike itself and your riding abilities.. But they're manageable..

If you plan to ride in different type of weather(Read Dry/Wet) suggest replacing them.
Euroslips don't do just to what the bike can do.

Changing to better tyres means :
                              1) Improved Dry Grip
                              2) Better wet drip
                              3) Stability at high speed
                              4) Improvement in Braking(especially Wet).
                              5) Improved Cornering

The only advantage Euroslip have is that they last long, replacing it earlier means you might get a good deal on the old ones(euroslips).
