Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
TPS shifts the ignition timing with respect to opening of throttle. It can be turned after loosening the allen screw holding it. If it has been set wrongly, maybe you'll get rid of your problem by setting it right. If the TPS is faulty (there's a variable resistor inside), your flat spot may shift to some other rpm when you turn it!Originally posted by powerShift View PostLast edited by krixna; 04-14-2016, 03:43 PM.

same happened with me too the breather hose elbow was leaking oil and come loose in my pulsar 220, even though the part number was there they told me to buy the entire crankcase for it.Originally posted by vvk1999 View Post
Noticed some oil leakage near the wire outlet from magnet side . Asked the ASC about the rubber gourmet from where the oil seems leaking. But it's not listed in the spare part manual. As per the ASC it is part of the whole stator assembly . So for just the piece of rubber i need to buy the whole stator assembly.
Is it so ?
Pls advice. I am in big dilemma now.
I used M seal to seal the leakage may be you can try too.

My rubber gourmet is like-yours but no oil leakage. Can't the rubber alone cannot be replaced? If so not, should I use the insulation tape and just tape it or should I do anything else??Originally posted by vvk1999 View Post

You can use M seal or Silicone sealant. Important: wipe the area 3-4 times with petrol and dry neat cloth, or the adhesives won't stick.Originally posted by vvk1999 View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Replacing the entire assembly for a single piece of rubber is utterly ridiculous and absurd. Even if it is not available separately, they can try and take any used ones lying around or from damaged bikes. But svc will never do anything to help a customer. All they will say such stupid things or spares not available or no stock.Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostNoticed some oil leakage near the wire outlet from magnet side . I have been after svc to source an allen bolt for the headlight assembly for the past 3 months as one of the four bolts fell off. There is 'always' no stock. Eventually, I had to put another allen bolt that is not for NS from a small svc that does not cater to NS owners.
The utter lack of empathy and sense of service is simply beyond words.Last edited by danny king; 04-14-2016, 04:41 PM.Your bike is a part of you....

Left is Philips xv , other is osaram NBU

Should I pick philips or Osram then? I need more range and visibility. I face a very little to no fog here.
Also please suggest me stock horn upgrade. Really the stock is super bleak when it comes in highways. Hella Yellow panther? Can it be fitted in NS by any chance?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I have used an Osram Night Breaker Unlimited in my NS, trust me all this 130% higher brightness thing is all gimmick. I switched to 100/90W bulb just after two months of using it.These 60/55W aftermarket bulbs gives just a whiter light and nothing else.Originally posted by jhbalaji View Post@vvk1999 @any1991, @GauravD and @vvk1999 @krixna @sharadh @vivek7593 @powerShift @NitSpeed200 @Itzli @deep007 @Durvesh @jbm_guy

So, I would advice you to either go for a 100/90W bulb with a proper relay and wiring harness kit, or use that 60/55W bulb with some led driving lights also called work lamps.
You can also go for an HID setup, just remember to buy good quality bulbs i.e. Cnlight / Philips / OPT-7 and blaster i.e. Hyluxtek / DLT F3 / Philips.
Just remember that if you use HIDs in reflector then only go for the HID setup which has anti glare shield on them which protects other motorists and doesn't makes you look like a fool. Also always go for 4300K or lower bulbs.
For the horns, you can use Hella Tractor horns. I have been using them since a while and they are good on highways. Else, just double the stock horn.
Don't ever use pressure / trumpet horns, always use sealed type horns as those pressure horns are illegal in many areas and also they stop working if water goes inside them.Last edited by shrey1992; 04-15-2016, 01:07 PM.Vrooming Soul..!!
