Update:-
Got the chain and sprockets changed. Also got the battery voltage checked.
Readings are as follows:-
Switched on (eingine off):-13.4-13.7V
Idling at 4k rpm:-14.5-14.8V
Idling at 4k rpm headlight on:-14.5-14.8V
(ASC mechanic told me that company says to check the battery voltage by idling the bike at 4k rpm.)
But still the problem of fluctuating rpm is there. Can it be a problem with the alternator or something else?

Attaching a picture of chain please tell me if its too tight or alright. Thanks

I maybe wrong however i dont think it could be an alternator issue at all since the engine off switch on voltage is also fluctuating. The alternator would only come into effect once the engine is running. Like i sed I maybe grossly wrong on this.

Chain seems slightly tight by looking at it bro but the best way would be to check for enough slack on the chain to just allow free movement of the swingarm.

Well, I dont rev a lot. But just would like to experience the difference from Bajaj and 7100. Hope it should serve my purpose. I commute 22kms a day and occasional getaway (small trips). I rarely rev to max and mostly would like a cruiser style riding at most in lowest possible rpm. Will keep that in mind.

No, the alternator adjusts such a way to keep up the load current constant (I think so). poor multimeter used by svc cant capture that small surge in power drop and resume after headlight. This is my thought. Battery looks okay it seems. Maybe krixna can comment of voltage levels as he has checked earlier few times. It looks okay to me anyway....

Thanks for the reply bhai and should I check the free movement of wheel or the swingarm?

Bro actually he was blank when I showed him that the neutral indicator N shaped light brightens as soon as I switch off the headlight(when the engine is idling of course). He asked me " sir aapko bike start karne me koi problem hota hai kya?". I told him no starting troubles just that rpm fluctuates and rpm drops dramatically (engine is idling) when the radiator starts.

Bro these lights dim out by default it's not an issue of power..
Same as the car dashes lights work it dims out as to prevent strain on eyes while driving in dark.. Not just neutral light even the turn signal and side stand light dim as well as the console light..

• Help needed in choosing Pulsar 200NS tyres

Hi,

I have a pulsar 200NS since Aug 2012 and the stock Eurogrip tyres have worn out.

I want to replace them with tyres with better grip and I dont know what to choose between

1)Michelin Pilot Street Radical (which is costing around 9K front plus back in Hyderabad)

2) MRF Zapper

Please help me choose.

Neither bro.. Check the chain slack.. If i remember its 25mm from default.. Which means if u push the lower chain up from the middle.. It should rise by approx 25mm. An accurate idea can be got from the service manual.

7100 is best for long highway run. Other oil seems to bother after some hour of continuous ride.

Ran with dtsi oil for 350 kms continously. After 1.8k post run. Cruising at 95s for 4 good hours and some occasional 120s for the people who invited me to race. Still stays good. It seems not that bad.

Some crash guards(cages) r available but they hurt the aesthetics . Google it .

Since rear brake is disc type, it requires little force to engage. So according to me , any modification to its length will cause problems. About its straight position , i m going to do some modifications to lower it , will post it soon .

I have Bosch dual horns without relay , they r good

Reflector design is not so good for good light beam throw. Bulbs wont change it. Use led auxiliary lamps .

Hope it help s .

1. Good crash guards are available, but I find the stock is good enough to protect both (experienced when I dropped my bike on a ramp, no single scratch and no harm to me). Give a thought one more time
2. The rear brake lever is placed right. Thing is, your RE rear brake levers are usually lowered (I'm riding my pal's CL350 regularly and have ridden TB350 as well and I find a hard time in braking rear wheels ). If your problem is to lower the lever, it is possible. But if it is with lights, then I haven't tried.
3. I'm using P220 dual tone. Actually I added one more horn from roots. Don't go for skoda... I felt it did'nt give a character to the bike. But two horns are more than enough to blast out on highway.
4. Anything above 32K will look washed on street lights or with other light sources. Halogen is best in my honest experience with it. I used a 37K projector, and I replaced to stock in less than a year. Go for 100w with relay and wiring kits. But I feel 60W more than enough if you have a good visor in your helmet or a glass for your eyes.

MRF zapper is good and mostly will suffice your daily needs. Plus it does go easy on your pocket. Michelin Pilot street is great if you have enough money to spend. I'd choose MRF (though I have the same currently and feeling pretty decent).

Is there a reliable method to check t stem bend? The mechanic reports it as slightest bend in t stem which need to fixed with some lathe work or so. But how could we verify that?
He said the bike goes to left side when it's left free. I didn't have the chance to get the straight roads. But whatever I checked with the available roads it goes straight most of the times but right sometime (my Intuition when there are undue road surfaces and the curves in road which not being straight) should I allow him to do that?

PS the bike fell from the stand and the crash guard got bent the mirror got loosened. The top bolt on the right side crash guard was pasted with two sided tape earlier since the bolt got cut when the ASC over tightened it. Any how that's is fixed and the bumpers are in places. Mirrors are secured right which had enormous play after falling down.
The rh handle bar pipe is also replaced as there was a slight bent. Only thing the guy now report is bent t stem or fork. Which will be fixed by making it straight. What should be done?

Not a major crash or something. It was a skid where the bike fell right when I was in some 20 kmph. I couldn't manage the unexpected fall.
