The bike will weight around 15 kgs and we would be doing some match to calculate the force since this one will act as a cantilever beam.

I do not know how much load the grab handle can take however if you designing a frame have it fixed on the bolts holding the grab bar with / without the grab handles. That way you could easily load about 25-30 kgs. I have done it myself - not a bicycle but a saddle frame carrying stuff easily in that weight range.

However I am really curious to know how the final carrier turns out. Would appreciate if you could a pic on here once completed.

Hello guys! I am a undergraduate student from Bhopal and an NS owner(probably the last from Bhopal, MP). My pulsar is close to being almost one-year-old and I have done 4.5k kms on it & I know it is not a lot. Although, I gotta say, enjoyed every one kilometre on it. I had the option of buying a Gixxer, which I refused, knowing it would be a higher quality product: main reason being deficit of almost 9bhp. A short test-ride of the NS sealed the deal. The awesome high-revving nature of the over-squared engine with almost dual identity, based on the RPMs on which you drive it. Another factor of instant buy were the Zappers. Fitted the bike with better LED pilot lamps, powerful Minda twin horns and the Wakaba Mark on the rear hugger. Achieved an indicated 127km/h on limited stretch and achieved a max 45kmpl. All free services have been completed. Gotta say, I'm quite pleased with the bike. Some minor niggles do exist, but don't matter when you twist the throttle against a evenly priced bike on an open-stretch and then see their faces through our lowered visors... HeHeHe.

Right, bro! NS comes at approximately Rs.4000/bhp , which is the cheapest for any bike in any segment. Tell me if I'm wrong.

To fix AS200 visor we need AS200 visor, 6 Screws of Pulsar 220's Visor and the 1 inch washer(the screw goes into it) which is also present in P220 Visor.

Take out the NS visor and drill 4 holes(only outer holes, by marking the position keeping AS visor on top) i used Soldering Rod to do hole. And fix the 4 Washer to the NS's visor and fit back the NS visor first. And then place the AS visor and screw it up. As simple as that.

It'll be shaky so i fixed the remaining 2 screws and washer to the AS visor itself so it'll hold the gap between the NS and AS visor so well that it wont shake even at 120+ speeds.

I'll upload the detailed pics tomorrow.

And why cant we use the AS200 allen bolts itself? Why so 220 visor screws?

Yes, but donot expect instant results, it will take 150 to 200 kms before you see results. Drain the Bajajoil after a 10 min ride or when the engine is warm. Remember to get the oil filter changed and the magnetic filter cleaned properly.

I would rather suggest you to use Motul 7100 as it has the same oil grade as the company suggests now regarding Motul 5100, I have heard from some people that the engine over heats and the smoothness is not as expected.
Coming back to 7100 I am using this oil from last 7-8k kms and there is hell lot of difference in the engine. Now the higher rpms like 7k or 8k don't feel like much and the bike feels a lot more relaxed now. Even in the hot after noons of the summer engine stays a lot cooler where as in the stock Bajaj oil after 2500 kms the engine used to feel rough. Last thing are the gear shifts sounds like clicks rather than the old thuds, the 7100 lasts long too.

I have a uncovered parking here and yesterday when I was commuting back some 40 kms I can feel the instant heat from the engine above 6k rpm which makes fuss in poor shifting and clutch engagement. Overnight it cools down and smooth as butter. I believe the poor bajaj makes
Any fuss with performance and mileage does it make?
My bajaj oil is 1800km old. Change frequency of 7100? Any discount store of purchase of 7100 in Bangalore?

So should I go with 5100/7100? Someone was posting the valvoline too any comments?
Also difference between 7100 and 300V?

I dont know the correct name but it know is 5 something. I thought its 5100.

EDIT: 5100 is hybrid and 300V is full synthetic

You can shift to 5100 bro however do not make the move to full synth 7100 before 8K on the odo. Personally I would suggest run another 3K on the DTSi and then switch to 7100 directly.

I would second on that as I forgot to mention about the kms, stick to the stock oil till 8k after that you can switch 7100 and it should easily last you any where between 6k-7k. About the discounts can't say anything as I am from Ahmedabad. But you can check online at amazon.in or Snapdeal.
