Good morning guys. Yesterday night I rode my friends AS 200 and damn... It's clutch was way light than my NS I think 30% lighter than It.I do change my clutch set at every servicing interval but still I hadn't get those result. Do AS get the improvised clutch to NS? Cuz yesterday night I call to SVC and they replied its same on all S series. 🤔

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
There were days when i struggled a lot in starting up the bike... Auto choke would never turn on. Initially after buying, every time after engine ignition, the auto choke raised the rpm once and it dropped and was good. But later on it showed to many issues.Originally posted by kany1991 View PostSad to hear about aditya may his soul rest in peace [emoji22] [emoji22]
Automatic chock is good IMO
we never faced any problem on 220 in 4 yearLast edited by jbm_guy; 03-17-2016, 09:51 AM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
If you comparing ns to older gen pulsar(p180 p220) than yes steering feel heavy because of different riding position and wider tyreOriginally posted by vvk1999 View PostI had p220 earlier , so compared to it the steering is heavy .
And check tire pressure too

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Divya bhai is it so ? I am asking because on a cold start idle mine idles at 1100 or so but when its warmed up the rpm creeps up to about 1400. This is for idling without the choke engaged. Is there something wrong with my idle setting in that case ?Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostShould be the other way round. Cold starts see RPM rise to 1800 RPM or so and later it settles between 1200 to 1400 RPM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
1. Heavy steering - get the cone set checkedOriginally posted by vvk1999 View Postbought a used ns200
Problems i m facing:
The steering feels too heavy ,is it due to cone set or wide Tyre(stock size eurogrip )?
Vibrations at rider & pillion seats approximately at 5000 - 7000 rpm
How to minimize them ?
(Using motul 7100 just 200kms done on it)
Seats are too hard , hurts a lot any modification s ?
wind blast at 80kmph above is too much , any solution? Large windshield ?
2. Resonance - 7100 will give some vibrations but I havent seen my NS giving vibes in that range. Try damping up your seats with washers etc. Try a different engine oil for a change and you would atleast be able to figure out if its the engine oil causing the issue. 7100 is not the smoothest oil but its one of the best for the NS.
3. Hard seats - the NS seats are on the harder side. You could try gel pad inserts for your seat softening mod. You could get them off of redlineplus.in Also, turn your suspension setting to a notch before softest. Reduce your rear tyre pressure to about 28. Many people have reported better damping that way. Also krixna modified his swingarm by lowering the monoshock mount.
4. Windblast - try the visor for AS. has mixed responses but does the trick for some.
Hope this helps bro.

Makes sense bro.. If I were to try your method, due to the traffic I ride in, I'd be dancing in my seat all the way. LolOriginally posted by Tanzing Sherpa View PostHey GauravD, sitting back is while you ride which feels comfy but while in a stop I do move bit forward but still if I stay back I can still tip toe and stop. I don't know it happens unconsciously.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
But i find the clip ons of p220 kind of narrow.. I sometimes find that comfortable... Ns has a wide clip on, making your hand spread across which causes shoulder pains after long rides..Originally posted by kany1991 View PostIf you comparing ns to older gen pulsar(p180 p220) than yes steering is heavy

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Did any Version of ns come with autochoke?. I ask this because in one of the bajaj svc, the engineer told me ns had no choke (maybe he thought about p220).Originally posted by krixna View PostThis happens only in bikes with auto-choke for cold starts. If you have a higher rpm after starting and it comes down when the engine gets warm, you have auto-choke. My model of NS doesn't have this system, so it starts at around 1000 and later rises to around 1500. Is your bike NS or AS? Which model month/year?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
AFAIK NS has always been manual choke.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostDid any Version of ns come with autochoke?. I ask this because in one of the bajaj svc, the engineer told me ns had no choke (maybe he thought about p220).

ODO 4800. Last oil change was 3800. When should I change oil and should I opt for Motul 5 or 7 or stick to DTSI 1000 Oil?Originally posted by GauravD View Post1. Heavy steering - get the cone set checked

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
i am on tight budget. this product seems nice to me.Originally posted by krixna View PostThe kit has wiring harness and ceramic holders for two headlights. Be sure to pick the kit for H4 holder...oops forgot to say that. I bought the kit for Maruti 800.
You have fuses for high and low beams in the wiring. Relay comes in a separate box and it's plug-in, no screwing wires on to it. And, it is wiring conversion kit and relay, sold separately. You just buy the wiring kit, relay and 100/90W bulb. Nothing else needed.
this kit has wiring + relay + ceramic holders. so i will only have to buy bulb.
wide handle bar provides more flickabillity, better control.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostBut i find the clip ons of p220 kind of narrow.. I sometimes find that comfortable... Ns has a wide clip on, making your hand spread across which causes shoulder pains after long rides..
engine oil: if this issue is too uncomfortable for you and you wont mind spending engine oil again, you can try it. but to me, this is not an economical and not 100% guaranteed solution. if i were you, i would have used oil bit before its limit and then would try for another engine oil.Originally posted by jhbalaji View PostODO 4800. choke: try finding it behind left side perimeter frame. it is same like bonnet lock in cars, clip like structure, invisible, but within reach of finger.Last edited by powerShift; 03-17-2016, 12:43 PM.

Yeah you right, but one can always get ready to put down his feet during traffic and if no traffic sit back and cruise. It happens naturally to me,maybe I should fit my go pro and see how i look.
