And don't talk to them anything about bikes! Just ask 100W upgrade kit for car. Tell them any car you want, but don't use the word Bike. "Paithyakkarana nee, bikela 100W podarathukku?" will be the reaction

This is kind of mad, when considering the situation I was in to buy my first bike. I booked Hero Honda CD100ss which had 25W and after a day Splendor was launched and the catch statement was that it had 35W head lamp. When I was discussing with my friend whether to cancel the booking and opt for later, I got a similar line (without mentioning the wattage) LOL

I have also had similar experiences before. They just say the words with such sarcasm that you would not never go back there again, even if it was for your car.
Better to have a very good idea of what to ask for and never mention the word 'bike'.
Your bike is a part of you....

Nice looking bike. You should rather get the registration number printed at the front. It's a legal requirement. These slogans if really needed can go elsewhere.

Just what I thought to reply. Though it caught my attention in first glance.

Yeah, you are right. Ada car shop ah vidungha (leave car shop), even the Bajaj SVC guy gave a strange look, when I asked about the possibility of 100w upgrade after my worst experience with my projector. I thought, doing the same with the help of Bajaj SVC would be good, later I realize how stupid was I

Anyway thanks for this very important info. I will just consider a 100W H4 kit with relay, holder and wire

second, some times my bike feels like its out of fuel .
third, some times when riding my engine chokes like the fuel has been cut for minor part of a second and then back to normal.

Exactly sometimes I also feel that my bike is out of fuel and it gives hiccups.

All these are signs of incorrect tappet settings and most probably your Diapharm is gone.Just change it and make sure you clean the Air filter.

And ask the SVC guy to CLEAN THE CARB BY OPENING IT THOROULY.Its a must.
Once done just let me know if issue is reslved!(It should actually)

Thanks bro for the quick reply.[emoji4]
I will tell the SVC guy to make the tappet settings right and clean the carb thoroughly. But is it necessary to change the diaphragm also? Were you facing the same problem before the diaphragm change and carb cleaning?

Mine was as if fuel stopped coming(In consistent throttle fuelling) and terrible FE,something around 25.

4 things and you make sure you do it in front of you and if they say no ask for a job sheet saying bike has no issues!then the do it.

                              1)Check tappet settings
                              20Check Diapharm
3)open carb and clean thoroghly.I mean deassemble
                              4)Clean Air filter
5)Ask him to tune carb to stock settigns.

                              IT should get fixed
