Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I am facing a problem after AFR setting, the problem is suppose when the engine hot and idling at 1.5k rpm as soon as i shut the engine and restart it after 3-4 mins 1) it does not start in a single click 2) it again starts idling at 1.1k rpm and the very slowly rises to 1.5krpm. Earlier this issue was not there, it used to start in 1 click.

If the Afr is lean, plus you are having low temperatures around you (cold air), this will happen, double sure. Loosen (turn counter-clockwise) the Afr screw by half turn and see.Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostI am facing a problem after AFR setting, the problem is suppose when the engine hot and idling at 1.5k rpm as soon as i shut the engine and restart it after 3-4 mins 1) it does not start in a single click 2) it again starts idling at 1.1k rpm and the very slowly rises to 1.5krpm. Yeah I live in Ahmedabad and it is pretty cold here, I have tried turning the AFR screw anticlockwise the rpm needle becomes inconsistent. Is it okay?Originally posted by krixna View PostIf the Afr is lean, plus you are having low temperatures around you (cold air), this will happen, double sure. These are best choices.
Thanks!
Michelin Pilot Streets are out of my budget.. So my first choice for the front would be Zapper FQ and rear would be Revz S. Any idea of the approx prices.. don't wanne get ripped by the dealer

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Are you sure you turned anticlockwise (loosened)? Do the adjustment when the engine is quite warm. Sometimes you may have to turn up to one or one and a half turns to get it right. Each half turn you do, turn the idling adjustment knob to bring rpm to 1.5K. If that doesn't solve it, take it back where you had given your bike and tell them your problem.Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostYeah I live in Ahmedabad and it is pretty cold here, I have tried turning the AFR screw anticlockwise the rpm needle becomes inconsistent. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
So if the NS comes with FI then Amy idea if we can put it on our bike replacing Carb.if so what all we will have to do.also the NS would be having the RS200 engine and not the NS ones.

The store quoted Rs 3300 for Revs S. Prices will vary from store to store and location. Its better if you check the price in various stores in your area before purchasing.Your bike is a part of you....

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
That would be a major overhaul, while kits are available for thousands of dollars, which are mostly like plug and play, but for bikes, we may run out of area, loose connections, lasts of patch works or weld works maybe required to make it firm. Plus the availability. I hope bajaj will retain the ecu map the same as rs, as there is no change in engine. Also remember, the change in alternator to generate more amperage, as now onwards the ecu, fuel pump etc draw current. So our battery powering setup may not be sufficientOriginally posted by xplod566 View PostSo if the NS comes with FI then Amy idea if we can put it on our bike replacing Carb.if so what all we will have to do.also the NS would be having the RS200 engine and not the NS ones.

For that cost we can sell it and get NS fi with ease [emoji6]
Plus, the crispness of RS throttle was still not as good as duke 200, where i felt the later very responsive.
i guess that makes up for the answer. But all my eyes are at BMW G310 [emoji14]

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Good one, by the way, did you opt for any high current rated wires or still with stock for 100w?. Then i guess we need about 2 meters of wire extending all the way from battery to headlight (relay inbetween)Originally posted by krixna View PostDoes not fluctuate, but draws current from the battery instead of the alternator below 3K. No melting issues
At least not for 6 months.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
You no cut wires of the bike, you no buy wires. You no buy relay or fuses. All that is included in the kit, bro. Kit cost me around 700/-. Bulb around 250/-. That's it.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostGood one, by the way, did you opt for any high current rated wires or still with stock for 100w?. That's good bro. You said you bought it in a car shop locally (if i recall correctly). When I checked, they said the kit won't fit on our socketOriginally posted by krixna View PostYou no cut wires of the bike, you no buy wires. You no buy relay or fuses. . So need to cut, use tape to seal....Uuufff...!!!. My bad, just now have brought the new head unit back, worried should I go cut the wires and do a mess...!!!
Sure not available online?. I found some on ebay, but don't know if that fits for us.
