The 7100 is always going to feel a little more harsh than other engine oils however by my experience you will start feeling the affects of the oil working only post about 50 kms of continuous riding. Signs to watch out for - The gear shifts become slicker, the slot in perfectly, the engine starts whirring like a charm and fewer radiator fan churns. I would suggest use of the 7100 only you regularly have highway runs else the 5100 would do perfectly. I have heard the 5100 is way smoother than the 7100. I am planning to shift to 5100 since my running is about 50 kms daily with about 30 on the highway and the rest in start stop bumper to bumper traffic.

Still working on the aesthetics Danny. I am yet to finalize if I wanna go in for 1 headlight or twins. Actually to be honest I am having issues deciding what size to go in for.

Question - Does anyone know the distance between the two headlamp mounts on the NS. May help me decide .. actually am too lazy to open up the headlight just for measurement. [emoji14] [emoji14] [emoji14]
Bother to brother:- agreed to that[emoji4]
And after 6-7k kms I will switch to motul 5100 thanks for the advice.

Government is not doing any good and the Military came after 3 days. Prices has hiked to 300% more. The only good thing that Happened is, we were able to witness Humanity still being alive. Unknown persons helping, giving food and shelter....

Looks like a big work... Well then, I'll wait and get the bulb out during my service

If I am correct, your bike has an N7 Sticker isn't it...??? I think you posted ur bike's pic longway back. Those reflecting colors are amazing
not big work, just leave it to the mechanic, he probably would've done it before
yes it does have N7 sticker. and thanks, that is actually a fluorescent orange sheet, doesn't reflect like radium stickers, instead has an inner glow, hence the name fluorescent

When I rip my engine to redline right from the first gear the engine automatically starts to pull it self back ,the rpm decreases about 1500 rpm despite of full throttle.

It's a safety mechanism that ensures engine does not over rev. Else the engine would destroy itself. The cdi cuts off the sparks at particular rpm to reduce rpm to safe levels. Its normal and happens in all gears, even in neutral.

Hi. I bought the Zapper FQ for Rs 2200. I bargained for a discount but the MRF T&S owner did not budge. Since, I was the badly in need, I bought it. The technician tried to dissuade me and wanted me to take the FX1 which also in stock. He was saying FX1 has more sales. I bought the last FQ piece.

I have to say, the FQ offer superb dry and wet traction. Euroslips are nothing compared to FQ. I can now ride in utmost confidence.
Next, I have to change the rear Euroslip. Probably, next month.

MRF lists so many motorcycle tyres in their website. But only a handful of the models are available at any store. I inquired with 8 the T&S stores Trivandrum city area, listed in the MRF website and 3 of them had 100/80 17 in stock, that too FX only. And only one store had both FX and FQ. No other models in 100/80 17 section were available.

The showroom owner also told me that they are given a maximum and minimum price bracket of the tyre and they can not sell that tyre for more and less than that price.

This sort of thing happened to me last year. I bought a Revz C for my friend for Rs 4100. And he did not take it. Eventually, I placed an ad on Olx. In a few days, some one called and offered Rs2800 against the 3800 I quoted. He said the price of a brand new tyre was that and that I was tricked into paying 4100. I inquired with a few other MRF stores and all of them quoted prices between Rs 3200 and Rs 3500.
I sold the tyre for 2800 and sent a complaint to MRF along with the bill. And finally, the store ended paying me back, Rs1400.

Oh thats big margin of profit and nice to hear that they paid you the difference but its a shame for MRF and they should look into these kind of problems minutely.
