Decided to go for Michelin Pilot Sporty front tyre as stock Euroslips have worn out. Odd thing is that the tyre which the dealer shown me was not listed in the Michelin website. Website shows a completely different Pilot Sporty.
Dealer said the price is Rs 1800.Your bike is a part of you....

If true, it is a old pattern, check manufacture date and stay as far as possible from this tyre. It is not worth the money. For mental health..

Bro I would suggest you to stay as far as possible from Michelin pilot sporty..as the pilot sporty version is manufactured by India they totally sucks..!! Rather than pilot sporty I would suggest you to go with Michelin pilot street they are just superb...!!Originally posted by danny king View PostWonder how NS would look with Triumph twin headlights. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
afaik ALL Michelin 2-wheeler tyres are made for them in India by TVS-srichakra . Michelin is having only radial bus & truck tyre manufacturing facility in Tamilnadu . Correct me if I'm wrong , but I don't know if any of their 2-wheeler tyres they sell in india is imported ?Originally posted by Harsha Mahendrakar View Post... Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
ToI never knew this. And I did a Google search. Found a lot of links including those from Hindu, Business Standard etc. stating that Michelin and TVS-Srichakri have a pact for manufacturing bias tyres for motorcycles and scooters. So, I think, the radials are made by Michelin itself.Originally posted by Pinaki View Postafaik ALL Michelin 2-wheeler tyres are made for them in India by TVS-srichakra . The rear 130/70 radial is Pilot Street. However, front pilot street is available as 110/70 not 100/80. I intend to go for the rear pilot street but now am confused about which tyre I will use for the front.
I don't know this was asked before. But still. Can 110/70 be fitted on NS?Last edited by danny king; 12-04-2015, 04:24 AM.Your bike is a part of you....

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I was thinking about having the same brand for both front and rear. Its becoming difficult to decide.Originally posted by NitSpeed200 View PostYes, 110/70 can be fitting though i suggest you not to upsize the front. You can check out the mrf zapper series which is available in the stock size.

Hows the FQ? Hope you have ridden it quite enough to know about the grip. I know FX because it was the stock on my old FZ. FX gives good grip in dry condition but not so much in wet conditions.Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostBro, he is quoting just too much for Zapper FQ I got them for 1900 bucks though he was quoting 2000.Your bike is a part of you....

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I have ridden around 140 kms after the tyre change and the stability has increased drastically as compared to the euroslips can't say much as tyres have not broke-in. Can't comment on wet grip. But the compound is different than zapper fx and its a new tyre so u can rely on it. Try finding the tyres which RS 200 has zapper fy2 for the front and zapper-s for the rear buy them eyes closed if they available they have received really good reviews.Originally posted by danny king View PostHows the FQ? Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Their only plant in india (tamilnadu) makes bus and truck tyres only . Do you know of any other facility they have for manufacturing motorcycle tyres ? if so I'm wondering why they'd have TVS , who is a major competitor to them , make their tyres for them .Originally posted by danny king View PostI never knew this. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I don't know if there is any other plant. Really don't know why Michelin would tie up with a local player. I also saw a news that Apollo is going to enter the two wheeler tyre market through a similar set up.Originally posted by Pinaki View PostTheir only plant in india (tamilnadu) makes bus and truck tyres only .
