Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Good info. Basically the chart goes towards performance. Motul 5100 is known for smoother engine while 7100 is known for good crunchy acceleration engine. The choice is as per your requirements. Also 5100 costs less.Originally posted by srivarshha View PostThanks guys ill just look over the issues you discussed and also ill go with 5100 engine oil ....i jjust googled this may be useful classifications of engine oils

Castrol experiences have been shared already here in NS forum. And it was not positive like Motul. Try to source Motul 5100. You also buy through online.Originally posted by srivarshha View Posti changed engine oil with castrol 20w50 power 1 ..i didnt find motul 5100 in our area is it worthy??....i have one doubt i filled only 1lit is there any problem i didnt topup with 1.20 lit of engine oil???
Regarding the engine oil levels. 1.2 liters is recommended. At least 1.1 liter. But have seen some people running with 1 liter. Check your engine oil marks through the glass window using a center stand. If it shows less, then you should do it immediately. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Sorry bro, still couldn't understand it. You get vibrating sound after engine heats up or the fan starts to rotate?. Try this, Start the bike in neutral. Let it run on idle for sometime and observe the sound. The fan will start after some time as the engine still is running without load. Now observe the sound and post here. We can see if the sound originates from Fan itself or from engine\chain. Use center stand for this.Originally posted by namansengar12 View PostVibration sound starts on normal heating

first of all 4 stroke carbs dont need decarbonizing every now and then . you should clean it up every 15,000 km and nothing less.
if you still plan to clean it then there is no magical fluid. its ordinary carb cleaner. go to any automotive car shop and ask for Carb Cleaners.
use that fluid."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello guys! Can anyone give a definite answer on the reason behind the tachometer needle vibration when it is more than 2.5-3k RPM? Is it because of the engine vibrations, faulty speedometer or faulty rpm sensor?
Thanks in advance!
