There is a sound coming from my chain when the bike is moving (only when riding the bike and not when ignition is off). Its the sound of the chain movement on the sprocket (something like the sound from a bicycle's chain when paddled reverse).
The chain slack is also fine...around 25mm.
So is this sound normal? Its just 5 days old.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Guys i am seeing lots of nice photos of pulsar 200 ns here. Many of you have also done some rim stickering and other fancy stuffs to their respective bikes. Even i would like to use some carbon fibers and other stickering stuff. I am from mumbai and i want to know where in mumbai i can done these things beautifully to my beast. And any kind of suggestions are welcome like which part to be utilise n how.
Thanks in advance

Check this link.. there is an image shared by Rahul for better understanding : http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post868306ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.

Going to give my bike for first service tomorrow..... I have a doubt regarding Bajaj reliability in terms of after sales service.Yesterday i called them for booking the first service for my vehicle but instead of allotting me a booking number they told me to come early by 0800 am to 0900 am. Due to heavy traffic and partially laziness
i reached there by 945am. They are not ready to accept the vehicle for service.Instead told me to book a appointment in the customer lounge and the same old story come tomorrow morning 8 to 9. Whether this strict timing sense is really worth . Now i am really feeling sorry for choosing 200NS(so called premium bike from Bajaj) where i would have easily gone for Karizma or GS150R with a good service in my area. Being a noob rider and lack of parking service in my house i rarely sit with my bike and experiment things. And the service bay which i saw is dumped with large number of vehicles within a small area i surely doubt the service they are going to give tomorrow.I have experienced the same when i bought access 125 from Suzuki and the same struggle went on for 5 months. Finally after finiding a good svc about 30 km from my home. SVC which i am speaking about is the main dealer in Chennai region itself. Will post the review about svc after my first service.

Why don't you join the Bangalore's NS group, most of things are easily sorted. You can try turning the AFR SCREW "clockwise" about half turn and see if there's any difference.

The problem is that there too many Bajaj bikes on road, and lesser service centres. But this is true for every company including Hero. Look for other SVC centres which are less populated / reach by 8:30 / leave the bike and collect it next day. If still having troubles talk to service manager, if he's adamant send a mail to Bajaj Customer Care, things will work out smoothly.Originally posted by pgaucha View PostGoing to give my bike for first service tomorrow..... Consider that your bike only requires servicing at 750, 5000 and then every 5000Kms which I think is quiet lot time for any motorcycle.
Thanks for sharing the link bro, i'm uploading the new one with the corrections. Kindly share this image from now on.Originally posted by kaydee_bangalore View PostNo need to open any panel.

I dont blame guys for this.... Really bajaj should be knowing this already though they may be supporting KTM,Ninja through their Probiking showroom & SVC so that the customer doesn't feel insecure after spending his money on Ninja or Duke . But think of pulsar as a international brand where we speak about going to next level with 200NS in terms of technology, features and pushing the limit of other brands. We are the Next Gen customer(considering my case) who uses the bike mostly for daily travel and we cant take the bike to the local mechanic for atleast 2 years(as already there are lot of holes being bore into engine) as they may cause the engine more harm than good. I would really think twice before buying an Bajaj Pulsar 375NS(as speculated)

I have no way except to reach there by 0800AM tomorrow as their SVC only has the trained NS technician.Even for that purpose i bought the vehicle from they're showroom. My only fear is whether it will be serviced properly tomorrow.Let hope for bestOriginally posted by rahuldevnath View PostThe problem is that there too many Bajaj bikes on road, and lesser service centres.
