Now this just assures me to make a Strong mail to Bajaj, 1st thing in the morning tomorrow.

Buddy, Since u have not installed a center stand, then how can you tell that the wheel is rotating, with the clutch depressed?? If it happens when Both the wheels are on road, then there must be Some Serious issue with the clutch. if the mechanics can't solve the Problem after some tries, then don't even hesitate to send a Strong mail to the Bajaj CC. If required they will send a knowledgeable mechanic from Pune (OR MIGHT BE KOLKATA)to fix your issue.
I can gurantee that the issue is not there in my NS.

Also, I am not going against PSR sir, but my logic tells me to HARDEN the clutch rather than loosening it, in this particular situation.
    PSR ji, please clarify ...

@all:my bike seems to have a peculiar problem, don't know whether its present in all NS as told by the SVC mechanic.even if the clutch is fully engaged the wheel keeps on rotating when the gears are engaged and if I downshift a bit lightly the gear makes a scary sound as though the clutch had not been engaged properly.as per psr sir's instruction I loosened the clutch and even tried all possible settings of the clutch but the problem still persists and when I took the bike to the SVC the mechanic just reduced the idling rpm and said that now its ok.guys please help! and thanks in advance.
Arre bhai...please courier me the centre stand when its available!

And as far as your gear shift is concerned, I presume your bike is still new (probably a few hundred kms or even less). So it will take some time for the gears to settle-in. Even my bike has this thing. So relax and ride your bike normally and press the clutch lever fully while gear shifting. It should be fine in some time.

I believe the Bajaj CC was only good till the NS was launched or may be only b'coz of sales. I have already emailed three days back and no reply yet. Whereas when it used to be regarding the Ns' launch/sale, it used to take them just a few hours to respond.

thats horrible... Mee too will shoot a mail tomorrow... And btw rear wheel rotating slightly is no issue. Keep riding.... It happens in a lot of bikes...every manufacturer. No issues at all... Me too had on my earlier bike... Dont take notice of small issues...just ride casually dil khul ke..dont pamper your bike...@jk: no battery drain...no warranty ka jhamela...nothing. Plug and play. Its halogen with stock wattage only... Only have a blue coat oves the bulb to make the light white... Its philips. Maybe blue vision, diamond vision or night vision..forgot the name...its of hs1 type

I am extremely sorry for this but psr sir had actually told to adjust the clutch 5mm and not to loosen it .saw it today.

@myth:I totally agree to your statement that the Bajaj CC does not reply as briskly as they used to before, maybe they are taking us very lightly.and regarding the center stand thing you can even come here and get it installed as bandel is not far away btw my bike has clocked about 520kms.

@ avi_nash94, thanks for going back and reading the earlier post and clarifying it here.
@ shibadip I had requested members to adjust the clutch to have 5mm free play at the lever to ensure full clutch engaging and dis engaging.

When I took my delivery (on 1st oct) Biswajit told me that a bike which was sold on 17th aug also till did not receive its regn no. till then. I doubt we'll be getting ours any sooner. Btw, I have already taken my bike to Rajarhat...last sunday But I must say i was riding like a wanted criminal with eyes wide opened for cops. luckily nothing happened. Moreover I don't have any plans for taking out my bike during puja. Its either going to be a car or nothing.

i think biswajit is not at all serious. Just now returned from the svc and met another ns... He got his number within a week from beltala PVD...and we are still stuck with alipur PVD...stupid govt... Btw how did you accomplish this mission of taking her to rajarhat....man you have guts.... which route you took?@avinash: the road to bandel from here is quite congested actually... @all: finally got the perfect tuning for my bike....just awesum.... No flat spot, no splutter, no snatchiness, very good low end torque...all is perfect... Pulls in 2nd gear from standstill without any clutch slippage and even does a same in 3rd with a bit of slipping... Super smooth... Next i need to adjust the gear...

I got my DESTINY registered from alipore itself within 10-14 days. And i didn't had to bug Biswajit for the No. They themselves called for the No.
Also the XUV also got registered at Beltola within a short span of time.

@Rahul, did the BL shah SVC tuned ur bike again?? In that case will take my bike there after I finish the service in Joka SVC on Saturday. Though I am Quite satisfied with Destiny's Tuning as of now.

Anyways if you all decide to meet, don't forget to call me in

omg! You took the riskier route... I was thinking of going through tollygunge meto>ranikuthi>baghatain>santoshpur>hiland park>e.m. bypass>then straight through science city> chingrighata flyover then rajarhat... Only problem is science city and chingrighata... Once a cross chingri there are simply no cops and the return journey is totally cop-less wana go again? I'll join then...Btw i am no tuning expert lol... I could tune my earlier bike very well but i still couldn't do it in this bike...will take some time to know the character of the carb... I didn't check my mileage after i got 35kmpl... Now i have started a bit of right hand action so i guess it will drop now... But still i think its around 35 only... Are you facing any tuning issue btw? Come to the bl saha svc and give me a call..its very close to my place...they are working very hard for ns... @shibadip: yes i again took it to bl saha today morning and they tuned it again...this time spot on... And the mech is well trained and the best mechanic of the svc... He even figured out the reason behind my gear issue... Very impressed to see them work hard...
