yeah moisture issue was there, but also i guess some sensors were not working , and also few of them got their radiator fans replaced as well i guess.... what i meant by this was the doubt on the quality of consoles used as i myself have got my bikes console replace two times.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostMy ride....My SUNSHINE... :)

Guys, here are two teaser pictures of the recent ride that I was taking about.
Now, seeing the pics, you guys have to guess the place. just tell whether it's a hilly area, or a sea side, or some other similar place.
PS- Members of Kbikers, pls don't spoil the fun.

No bro,Originally posted by adil200ns View Posthello guys, the svc folks told me it is not possible to fit the center stand along with side stand.they told me that the side stand has to be removed inorder to fix centre stand.is that true?
?and has any one of u got HID projector lamps for NS?if YES please share your views and pictures.Does fitting an HID void the warranty of the bike ? and does it affect the battery of the bike?
I got mine fixed at the SVC and they fitted it in about 8-9 minutes flat. Nothing had to be removed! Two legs and Two wheels. Add two more and they become crutches and cars.

and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Hi guys... Its been a while since my last post ( Thanks to exams) Crossed 750 kms yesterday and some issues still persist.
1. Gear shifting is the biggest problem. The gear shifting is hard after 1st service. I tried every method of shifting- half clutch, full clutch etc. but of no use. Before service the gears were butter smooth - one of the things which i loved in the NS. But it has been almost 400 kms after the 1st service and there is no change. I took it to the service centre and the mechanic rode it for almost 4 kms
At last he said that the gear spring has to be changed. ( Can any seniors tell whether its necessary ? ) He didnt say anything about the clutch adjustment which some people here discussed about and just told me to wait until he gets the gear spring.
2.Vibes at 4-5k rpm. Not much but it still is slightly irritating. When i mentioned it to the mechanic, He said "Every NS has that problem" !!?? He didnt even say that he will tighten all the bolts. And he always tells me to leave the bike for one or two days at the service centre ( which i hate because first, they dont handle anything properly
and second, i am doing my final year MBBS and attendance is very important for me ) I offered to come at 9 in the morning and that i will wait there until the evening. They didnt accept that as well! The Service guys are driving me crazy..seriously.. I just decided to get an allen keys set and do the tightening myself.
3. Flat spot at 3 to 4k rpm. Have to tune the AFR i guess. I am just waiting for the work at the service centre to get over so that they dont screw anything up after i tune the bike.
4. Rear disc bite has also reduced considerably. I used only the rear brake before but now i have to use both the front and rear for safe braking.
Mileage is hovering around 43-45 kmpl ( mostly city driving )
And one last thing- No matter what issues it has, Everytime i look at my NS, I forget about them
I dont think i could have gotten that feeling by buying any other bike..
@Shibadip Nice pics man..
and as sayank said, get a full face helmet..It will look even better

My RedBull... the naked sport!
LONG POST WARNING !!!
RedBull or I should call it RedBug, because the buying decision, though lingered in my thoughts for quite some time, got sealed and decided due to BedBugs, and why ? well, because bedbugs are the reason I shifted to stay at a farther place from office, giving the bike purchase decision a "needed" tag now which was a "wanted" tag earlier
Now, rolling the story back to 2010, to give a glimpse of flashback
August 2010:
I take a brief ride on my pulsar 220 dtsFI Red, before packing it off to Guntur, where my friend was to recieve and own thereafter. Yea, I sold my Beta Pulsar (it earned this name for being a rare bike that pulls like a mad cat, does 138kph with pillion, consistently and behaves with a huge mood swing, returns a fuel economy of 45 however ridden and above all, it was the first pulsar 220 in hyd, delivered to me in June 07).
The reason for selling such a rare beta bike was my fitness (or lack of it) which meant I was uncomfortable riding bikes than car. Add some financial calculations & suggestions from relatives and then bike was to go.
Well, what followed later was some job hopping & then caging around in a palio, baleno and punto for a while, shifting locations like chairs and then finally landing up in Bangalore again.
Cut to the present:
August 2012:September 23rd(The enquiry day):September 26th (Another Enquiry day, but with a good surprise):September 27th (The pay cum delivery day)Today, 12th October:The fuel figures.. Kitna deti hei ??
Planned Ahead:
Already Done:
The serious thing first!! Tire upgrade done. Shod the rear with 130/70 R17 IRC Road Winner. I got a manageable 1000/- in return for eurogrips & bought IRC for additional 2200/--- kri$ --

Didnt get to use the IRC in wet conditions yet. I am sure these will be much better than the stock eurogrip, even in the wet. Lets c... fingers crossed !!Originally posted by myth2104 View Post@Krishna Congo on your redbull. It finally did give you your wings back
Btw, how are the IRCs doing? Heard they are not good in wet conditions but awesome for dry roads? What say?
But, the performance on regular roads, gravel & sand on blacktop stretches the performance of the IRC is miles ahead of eurogrip.-- kri$ --

Hmmm...definitely it will be way better than the eurogrips (and should be better even in the wet condition). Do post about the their performance in wet conditions and your redbull as well.Originally posted by kri$hna View PostDidnt get to use the IRC in wet conditions yet. I am not at all comfortable (not that i am Claustrophobic) with full face helmets, especially in the city rides. Feels like restricted vision..
So what I have done is - bought myself a VEGA Boolean Graphics, (where the Jaw cover can be opened up), and it will suffice the dual purpose of City rides - which will be Open face, as well as tours - which will be full face.
:
Icing on the cake is I got it Just for 1360/- only..(where as In Kolkata it costs something over 2K)
