Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
BroOriginally posted by jbm_guy View PostSorry bro, still couldn't understand it. You get vibrating sound after engine heats up or the fan starts to rotate?. Try this, Start the bike in neutral. Let it run on idle for sometime and observe the sound. The fan will start after some time as the engine still is running without load. Now observe the sound and post here. We can see if the sound originates from Fan itself or from engine\chain. Use center stand for this.
When my engine is even little bit hot(riding 5kms) then when i start my bike at idle (1300-1400rpm) sound is normal but when i take raise at neural gear (2000-2300rpm)
The sound of vibration starts coming from engine...
No such sound comes when engine is cool.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Maybe you could just ask him straightly. He might help you in getting one.Originally posted by pratikthereddevil View Postbut i guess the svc guy poured this fluid inside the carbthrough the fuel pipe and then kept the engie running for about 15-20 min

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Thanks, Riders Ranch said they do not deal with them and asked to visit GP road. Just FYI.

You can try riders ranch in Besant Nagar. The shop owner is friendly and helpful. Even if he doesnt have it, he will try to get it for you or atleast advice you where to get it.
Hi,
I have a bit bigger torso than average and due to which the mirrors on my Pulsar 200 NS do not reveal things behind me quite well. I adjusted them to a max possible level and now I think of extending the mirror, by taking the stock mirror, cutting the rod in middle, weld a small rod of same diameter - may be two inches long, flush grind the weld and use back.
Just Googleing 'motorcycle mirror riser' shows a lot of options but they are expensive to buy. Other than these do you have any other hack or idea?
Thanks,
Narayanan

I don't understand why do you want to raise in neutral to 2000-2300 rpm?. OK, do you feel the same sound coming from engine when riding?. Also can you tell me when you changed oil?. Any smoke?, oil leakage?, oil levels in engine, etc?.When you say sound of vibration, are you sure it is from engine?, even the bikini fairing can bring up vibrations and can resonate at certain RPMs, sometimes the rear view mirrors... etc.Originally posted by namansengar12 View PostBro

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
ok, so you get vibration when the engine gets hot?.Originally posted by namansengar12 View PostActually if it was sound of any object's vibration as u mentioned like rear view mirrors etc..
The sound would come always whether the engine is cool or hot
Most probably the sound is either of engine or from radiator
After engine warming up, the idling speed will change slightly and may increase 100-200 RPMs than on cold. Now since you are saying the vibrations are felt after engine getting hot, is the sound coming from radiator?. I doubt the sound from engine, unless the tappet clearance has gone wider or closer. Otherwise there should not be any sound coming from engine. What type of sound is that?, metallic or some vibrating sound?.
Did you check with svc?. If the sound if audible, then try taking it to SVC, as they will only believe with solid evidence
. If not audible or felt, they may dismiss

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
+yes i suppose but i had asked him to cleanup my carb as i was getting faulty acceleration at some stage, so he suggest for decarbonising it so i thought he is decarbonising the caruretor ....i think he did what you are say but does that also decarbonise the carbuerator . but have to tell i have felt some difference after that ...can you explain how to do decarbonization procedure for DIYOriginally posted by lnagr View Postare you sure it was decarbonizing carb or it was decarbonising engine ? i noticed manual saying to do it at 20k service.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Seriously no idea bro. You try to take it another service point. Because sometimes the good service people work in a small workshops too. That's the hope. If things didn't work, send a mail to Bajaj. That's the best option.Originally posted by namansengar12 View PostI have already gone to them
The sound was audible to them too and they adjusted my tappets
(The told me the same reason that u r telling me) they adjusted my teppets but the sound is still ON
