But if someone is selling at such less price just cross check once if it's all genuine.best thing would be to go to service centre and provide the regn number to see if there was any major accident or something to fix

Exactly. That should be the first thing to do. Also need to ride it once to find out the niggles. But if the rider is not experienced, he may not know some hidden issues. That's why I'm offering him to buy my NS, as I have some big plans

I dont think that's easy, considering the privacy of the buyer. You can give a try
82K would be a done deal , plus you get the guarantee of getting a well maintained and well set bike

My front brake lever is not retracting back to its position. The lever feels mushy and does not make that "click click" sound which it use to make earlier when the bike was new. Due to this, the brake light always remain ON. I have to manually retract (push back) the lever so that the brake light goes off. Service center guy told me that the brake lines need to be replaced.
Can brake bleeding solve this problem? Or do I need to change the brake lines. Plz help, as it feels very irritating to pull the lever too hard.

Bleeding might solve this issue. You might be able to remove the sponginess by doing so.

                      • Help needed in deciding tyres(Again!)

I had been to Tyre Empire(Whitefield, Bangalore) and they quoted 5300 Rs. for the Michelin Pilot street rear(130/70). I'm thinking of going with Michelin Pilot Street for the rear(instead of MRF RevZ). The person there was suggesting me to try 110/70 as the front tyres for Pulsar 200NS. I was skeptical about it. So I said I'll check that and come back later. That will affect the handling, won't it?(Also mileage?). Another shop nearby said I could go with Michelin Pilot Sporty(100/80) and the total setup should cost around 7.5K. Is that combo(Pilot sporty 100/80 front + Pilot street 130/70 rear) better than MRF RevZ S 130/70 rear + MRF Zapper FY2 100/80 front? Or is it safe to go with Michelin Pilot Street both at front(110/70) and rear (140/70)?

Stick with what Bajaj recommends for 200NS. Bigger section on front will result in over-steer if the rear is not counter balanced. This is theory, but don't know the effect for such small size vehicles

But hope the 140 will balance out the 110. I think Michelin Pilot street(100 and 130) seems perfect for the money. Use 110+140 combo if you wish for more cornering by sacrificing for pickup (very slightly)

And by the way, do they accept the old tires?, for what price?. Is that a tire showrooms or a bike workshop?. Also how much do they charge for replacement?

It's a dedicated tire showroom with good quality equipment for fitting. I read on the forums that they should have stock of all brands. But when I checked today, he said they don't have stock for MRF or Ceat(but the guy there said that they'll get it soon. Not sure when though). He kept showing me Michelin tyres!

Haven't checked if they accept old tyres. And they charge 90 Rs. for replacing a tyre.

I'm not looking to upsize. I'll stick with the stock sizes. 100 isn't available in Street. I'll have to go with sporty for the front(and I've heard they're not that good) and street 130 rear. Street ones are made in Thailand. Don't remember the make for sporty.

I recently brought the street radial 130/70 r17,
the tyre is awesome and sticks like a sticker to the ground.
Bargain with them you will get it for 5100rs including fitting...
And they are professional in their work.
