  • Pulsar 200NS stock headlight replacement?

The stock headlights on Pulsar 200NS feel too dim during night time. The intensity of light and the spread(distance) is poor. I've been considering few options but I have doubts about all of them. Need opinions on which will work out best for me.
    1) Upgrading the bulb to osram/philips
Doubt - I've read that they don't offer much improvement either.
    2) LED projector headlight setup(slightly inclined to this at the moment)
Doubt - Not sure if they're bright enough. Also, will they be an upgrade to the stock setup? How do they compare to a HID setup?
    3) HID Projector setup
Doubt - Will it be a strain on the battery? Also, these setups from reputed brand are expensive.

Well to say, it gives great grip on stones, riverbeds, sand dunes, feet deep slush, tarmac, concrete, wet tarmac, slushy tarmac with confidence. Infact, its overwhelming enough to get you carried away at times. Apart from the daily dose of offroad and tarmac madness, it did give me a bit of grip while riding on snow and wasn't feeling dangerous at all while I rode through the black ice patches. Additionally as you can see from the attached photographs, I did do some cornering also which I have reasons to believe that many find it too hard.

Feel free to go through the video to catch a glimpse of how it leans

Guys, anybody using GoPro series?. I'm planning to get one, basic model the GOPRO Hero, comes for ~12k in amazon. Dont' know about warranty. Also heard to know about some other (local\other brands) SJ4000 having similar specs costs ~6-7K. If any idea, please share. Also need to to know about fitting the same in handlebar or tank, rather than on helmet.

Don't knw much about sj4000 i compared yi action cam wid gopro hero 3
For make it perfect u need lots of tuning on yi action cam after perfect tuning ie focus and removal of mic glue for perfect audio recording i can give 6.5 out of 10

YI isn't available in India yet. Also I doubt if it will march toward India. Also no accessories. How about GoPro?. I'm expecting a HD recorder. 720/1080p.

You don't need warranty until you really screw things up by banging it up. GoPro and SJ4000/SJ5000 are different. Battery backup is more with GoPro while SJ got replaceable batteries. The video is bit bluish on SJ while its straight up real with GoPro, but believe me the bluish one looks better on landscapes and underwater atleast to me. SD card supports are also different. The color adaptation in GoPro is better as compared to SJ. The FPS is better with GoPro (higher models). There is a wattery effect that comes with SJ and GoPro basic (very minimal). But the point where GoPro takes a downfall is in its accessories as you need to buy them separately whereas with SJ, it comes as box packed. At the end of the day the GoPro is for the people who wanna flaunt or strictly for professional usage and SJ is for those who want to just get the job done or for home usage. Preferably its like comparing a Canon 1200D or a Semi-SLR camera (which would be on sides of SJ) to a Canon 5D Mark III (which would be the GoPro). Where Yi probably would be the likes of Panasonic (Not heard much but just somehow manages to do the job) and using a cellphone with suction mount to do the job is like expecting a cheap P&S camera to shoot scenes of Avatar movie. Hope that would be an enough detailed comparison. Still suggestion would be, if you got money like 20k, go for GoPro Hero+accessories.
For mounts, I found that the chin mounting is far better than chest mount, top of the helmet mount, tank mount or visor mount for front view. For angular view, the 3 way mounts are good enough for a crash guard mount and a swing arm mount. For a selfie mount, I would rather use the 3way cliched onto the crashguard and if the road is too smooth tarmac, I wouldn't mind a visor mount. That's my two cents.

                          • I was just riding and in the middle of the road i saw an auto and a bike. The bike rider did not pay attention to me and he moved to cross the road and the mishaps happen. me and my bike goes straight and hit the pillar the big one made with iron.due ti disk break i slow down otherwise this becomes serious one and my helment saves my head during mishaps with pillar.
