Sticker job can be done from any good sticker shop in Karol Bagh. Jeetu Sticker in karol bagh is a good guy contact him at +919268236976. Cost of the sticker job depends upon the type of design etc you choose ranging from ₹150 to ₹300.

In the attached pic you can checkout two different types of designs.
I was quoted 2.5k for ktm handle guards at ktm svc ..such big price difference..

Could you post a video / pics on how it was installed.
We in Bangalore would love to get it installed too.

Can you please detail the Steps for installing the Hand Guard. And the cost involved for every item.

I Have done quite a few trips on my NS, especially on the hills. the Chilled Weather hits hard on the Hand, even with the gloves on. So these Hand Guards will surely provide quite a relief.
Cost of handle guards Rs. 730
      Cost of installation Rs.170
      Cost of stickers Rs. 220
I would post some close pics of the fittings lateron...however the fittings make it difficult for me to read the ODO unless i bend myself of turn the handle on right side..other than that everything looks perfect..

2.5 k is the price mentioned on KTM India's website.. not sure what's the difference between the 2.5 k and Rs.730 fir the handleguard..maybe the difference if of metal and plastic..

Here are the pics of the fitting. Sorry for being late.

Ignore the black tape on the metal L bend or I bend or whatever you may call them.

Apart from this setup, you can also use pieces of handlebars that can be bolted on the stock handlebar, and the hand guard can be fitted on that. (I'll try to get a pic of that setup too)

Guys, I asked my svc for replacing Projector to stock Halogen. He said, to replace the HID setup to stock, the whole setup needs to be removed (glass and reflector assembly) and only then it could be possible(I understood that, stock to stock change is not a big deal, but this HID to stock). If not possible to remove properly, he said it might require a complete replacement. Any idea how complicated is the setup to disassemble and remove HID and fix H4 halogen stock bulb?. Should I have to heat and remove the glue, dismantle the HID and heat it again to assemble back?. That's a painful task. Any help is appreciated.

It looks Good. Seeing it from front looks awesome, but internally a bit clumsy. But I hope it serves the purpose. Is this how the way setup Duke 200 also has been setup with?. Because of most of the Dukes I have seen, I never spot one with hand guards. I think duke with hand guard looks much like a dirt bike and hence dukers might've removed I guess

Bro, I have a doubt. Is your NS 2012 model or 2014?, but the color looks like red+black which says gen 2, whereas the sidestand indicator appears on console whereas mine appears on LCD display itself which was only in old gen .

Yes that's a bit of a drawback in a projector setup, that its not easy to go back to stock. One of my friend got his full headlamp assembly changed to revert to halogens.

Ya, it is a bit clumsy on the inside, but trust me, they do save your hands and levers in case of a crash.
Duke doesn't have clip on handlebars, so the hand guards just fit directly on the rod of the handle, without any extra clamp. Hand guards only come with Duke 390

Mine is 2014 model, but I got the console replaced under warranty. I waited for a full 1 month for the SVC guys to bring it from Pune, and after this long wait, they brought the old meter. As I couldnt wait any longer I got the 2012 model console installed. 😊

Oh my bad. The svc did tell me prior to fitting it as removing it back to normal (in case of warranty claim) is not easy, I should have listened. But I was obsessed with styling and the looks of angel's eye. Now I'm worrying every night when I ride . At times, I even wonder if the projector is working or not. It only is good on dark roads, but where do I find such place in city?.

The stock really had a good throw and gave a great visibility..... I'm now pissed off.

I never knew hand guards come with only D390. Thanks for the info. It might protect one day. So after replacing the console, do you get the original speedo error?. I don't know if that's from the console or sensor, but just asking out of curiosity.

Same thing happened to me. I changed to projector setup 1 year ago. Initially I was impressed with the amount of light it is throwing. But later, I felt that visibility is becoming low. In addition to this, sometimes the bike refused to start in the morning. I checked with service centre on this issue and they told that the HID is consuming too much of battery juice so that the starting motor is not getting enough juice. So I changed the battery which costed me Rs 2300. Within one month, HID stopped working. I was pissed off and decided to get rid off it.
Again, it is required to change the entire headlight dome as the reflector is painted black when HID is fitted. Finally, I changed the headlight dome which costed me Rs 1800.

Since you have the projector installed, you can either opt for a Philips HID kit and install it inside the projector. Its light through is good plus you get a 2 or 3 year warranty. Or you can change the headlamp assembly and go for a halogen. If buying HID, buy from certified Philips reseller.

Never checked the speedo error as it never really mattered to me that much, so I don't know about that.
But, since I have got this 1st gen console, the RPM needle has stopped wobbling. Earlier it used to shake up and down right from the day I bought the bike and it increased very much after munching some kms. But now even at high RPMs, the needle doesn't wobble.

I own a pulsar 200NS. The bike is best like 2-3months back. But now am facing this weird issue that even after servicing my mechanic couldn't figure out why.

The issue is when riding at high rpms, when shifting up from 3rd to 4th gear and giving full throttle immediately the engine remains at 7000 rpm for 5-10 seconds and after that immediately speeds up like how it should have sped up without that 5-10 secs delay. My mechanic suspected clutch plate might have worn out and replaced it with a new one still the issue remains. we even replaced the air filters but no luck. This happens when shifting from 4th to 5th gear too.

Can someone point what the issue is? Reply back if you have any more questions, I'll answer them too.

I think its a problem of gear not locking properly, ns has 6 gears which indicates it should also have 6 counter gears if they dont get synchronised this may happen. I dont have ns ,but seen this problem in bajaj super scooters .changing the required gears may solve this problem.
