Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys, some weird sound coming from the engine between 4000 and 5000rpm(only), its kind of Irritating noise with slight vibration. Any idea what could the problem be? Clocked 2500kms. This problem started from todayHero Honda CBZ- 2007-2007 Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme- 2007-2013
Suzuki Access- 2010 and Counting
Pulsar 220F - 2012 and counting Pulsar 200ns- 2013 and Counting

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Odo reading 45Kms in a day. Just city ride. Sticking to <4k rpm. There is a strange noise as if 2 uneven hard surfaces are ruining against each other and I don't know if it is the rear disc or from the cone. Should I wait till first service or consult service center?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Might be front or rear disc. I got the sound on the front disc. 890 kms on odo. Sound will automatically go away afyer prolong use of the disc. Actually the disc pad is much thick so the sound.Originally posted by Radeon View PostOdo reading 45Kms in a day. Just city ride. Sticking to <4k rpm. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Did some chain cleaning and lubing yesterday.
Front sprocket before cleaning,
and after applying some zorrik 88
Chain and sprockets are in good condition till now at odo 12.4k kms. But frankly I don't know much about chain wear and tear to know and when to change them. My friend says one have to change chain and sprockets when sprocket teeth shows some break and crack. Provide some info regarding this xBhpians.

As per my understanding, the cops are not empowered to fine you on the spot for not carrying your PUC but can, rather, only issue you a warning and you have to produce a copy before either them or a court within 15 days ( I'm not sure about the timeframe).Originally posted by broken87 View PostHoly s### 1000 Rs.. You sure ? I always keep my PUC up to date, only once I was stopped at a checkpost in Dwarka and that time I was caught with a PUC which had expired just 2-3 days back.. Costed me only Rs 100 to get out of there.. :P if you know what I'm saying..
At least that's what I can remember from a news article I read here in Bangalore. Don't ask me what article, I can't be bothered to search. Am typing this from my phone because I lent my laptop to my fiancee.
But then, of course, all this gets tossed to the wind as soon as the almighty cops get a hold off you, and they can't be bothered with such minor details. They just want to see some Gandhis passing through their hands.

I am damn sure. Once I was caught bye the kattar haryanvi thullas, I showed them all tge papers but unfortunately my puc was expired, I was not carrying any cash but he made the challan inpite of my repeated requests , finally I stood there for more than one hour when he realised that i seriously didn't have any cash and asked me to go.Originally posted by broken87 View PostHoly s### 1000 Rs.. Second time, also the same thing happened, but this time I had only 500 RS, I told him i have only 100RS but he noted down my rc no. And license no. And tpld me tgat challan will reach home and instead of 1000 , i'll have to pay 1200 or something like that. I came home and till date haven't received any challan.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey newbies,
Don't be scared by opinions of our "respected member" regarding stock Eurogrip tires.
Use it. Feel it. Without any prejudism.
I had escaped many times (maybe) because of its sticky nature.
both in heavy rain & dry tarmac.
But in mud & loose surface.... AAaaaa.... it s***s
I had shared my experiences more than a year ago.
Very good cornering stability (Slower speed)
Now I am on MRF. Because Eurogrip is not available here.
Still I am looking for stock tires. But no scope.
I couldn't say about higher speed stability. Because my bike has some serious problem which cant be rectified.
I will wobble @ higher speed (Both my older & newer tires)
Many of them complaining about back wheel locking.
There is only one reason; they don't know that how to apply breaks in a bike especially with disk break.
At-least go through some rider's manual or read the section of breaking in Keith's guide
& don't expect breaking stability like YamahaLast edited by spknair; 03-15-2014, 01:44 AM.I wish if I am the only rider in roads !!!!!
So I can red line my bike all the time
1992 - 1996 - Hercules Cannon Barrel
1996 - 2002 - Hero Swing
1998 - 2004 - Bajaj Caliber (1,21,000 KMs)
2004 - 2005 - TVS Victor
2005 - 2011 - Honda Unicorn (80,000 KMs)
2011 - 2013 - Honda CB Unicorn (32,000 KMs)
2013 - ???? - Bajaj Pulsar 200NS

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My friend has filed a complaint for his bike he was having a lot of problem and they were unable to fix it the problem was a leakage from the head, coolent. Rather they asked him to leave his vehicle and because of which he is planning to file a case against the company. Because he had left the bike with them a month back.

Go to a consumer NGO. .. They will help him file a consumer complaint and he will get the legal fees recovered also. Only he will have to prove he left the bike for a month and the problem wasn't solved..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Yup spknair you are right.People tends to use rear break alot rather than combining with engine and front break.People can't avoid many of the accident b'cuz of less knowledge about breaking.Goverment just give licence to any one who can manoeuvre the vehicle but they should include test in breaking skill too which is really important.Put The Pedal To The Metal
