  • Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

Went and shod my bike with a pair of Michelin branded footwear today. Rode exactly 14kms on the Euroslips and traded them in. Couldn't find the stock sizes for the Pilot Streets, so put in a 110/70 front and a 140/70 rear. A slight height difference of only 10% front and 7.7% rear, but very noticeable from the seat at standstill.

The steering has sharpened slightly too. But not so the grip. At a mind-boggling speed of 60kmph that I took one corner in, due to the bike still being run-in, the difference was immediately apparent even with the limited time I spent on the old tyres. I an't wait for the engine to be run-in so that I can unleash it.

Overall, pricey but well worth it.

Got my oil filter , o-ring and oil changed . Labour was 10 rs . Filled upto the up mark. Approx 1.275 litres of Motul 7100 20w50 . Idled for a minute after filling . Engine feels a bit smooth , didn't ride much so can't comment .

Considering that I got my bike just yesterday and have ridden it for a total of less than 30kms, I am not is a position to answer any of your queries.

But i can vouch for the massively increased grip, though. My office compound has a tiled patch of road, and the difference while cornering it yesterday and today was night and day.

                    Hello all
Sometime back i had posted about tak tak sound from front of bike, which was reduced with reducing pressure in front tyre the noise is there and is for sure from coneset.
Now my question is as replacing it don't come under warranty so what would be cost to do so and what parts should be changed ?
My bike has done 4000 kms.
Btw my bullet has done 20000 kms in less than a year and there was no sound or part replacement .

                    thanks

I had paid 6.9k for a pair wherein front costed 1.9k and back 5k.

Finally, took the delivery of the bike. The technician explained few basic things but not the entire thing.

The rear tyre hugger had scratches and when I pointed that out, they removed the part & said that they will provide replacement in 2-3 days time. Bike has very minor scratches all over the body. I pointed it out but the manager said that minor scratches are inevitable on black color bikes.

The technician and manager also mentioned that I am likely to face issues like noise, vibration etc and they can be fixed during the first service. Also, asked me to limit to 4k rpm.

Read about some instance where the dealer gave free vouchers etc at the time of handover. In my case, nothing of that sort happened. What I forgot to check was the coolant, engine oil & brake fluid levels. They did not bother to explain either. Checked the same after reaching home & was relieved to find that all is well with the fluids. Have to find out how to use trip meters and also to reset time. The current time is of some other time zone

That's it for now. No plans to change the tyres. So, pray for me!

Good. Finally you are a proud owner of 200 NS. Don't worry about the vibes. Till first servicing some sounds and vibes will occur. That is nothing to worry . Just the vibes from the visor is going to eat your head. That will be fixed by using rubber grommets on the visor. Just tell the mechanic when you go for the servicing about it. I got my first servicing done 2 days ago and now no vibes. Overall have fun on the new bike. Cheers!!

Where did you get the engine guard from? Is it from some other bike?

Bike has been ruined by that cheap seat cover and chillar stickers of most wanted.
