I don't care for sprockets, chain, ,as they DONG cost more than 1500₹. What i care about is no vibe smooth transmission of power via chain.

Exactly the problem you mentioned. I did some hard breaking and the noise vanished.

Dual tone looks great as well. One should see the Black-white combo in motion on road, it's very striking looking.. But I think we should sign a petition against Bajaj to bring back the single tone colors.. the mustard yellow especially.
The new colors are looking good to me now, may be I got used to them as I've been roaming to all SVC since a week

The lamp stickering gives an aggressive look to the bike, which is too good! Old ones black lamp looks cool though.

It's quite undebatable that sticker job on tank is awkward.

That aggressive look is making it difficult to make a choice

And the Black too(which I think is still in Production but if it isnt, it needs to be back.).
Infact I loved all the single tone colors.
IMHO they were much much better than the current lot.

Now I'm stuck with dilemma to buy the dual red or old blue.

I kinda started liking new red, especially the front looks too good. Though the tank looks awkward.

          Opinions please..

You should be lucky to get a solid blue one.
These freaking Bajaj always do this, first they maufacture all the solid colors' bikes. Next they cut costs by manufacturing only "Black" colored and putting those cheap stickers on them. They have been doing this right from the time since Discovers and Pulsars started. All these had Solid Colors, next came the lot of Black bikes with those cheap stickers. The worst part : nobody condemns and Bajaj makes a fool out of us.

Anyways, if you still like the cheap stickers you could got for it. But, like i said you should be lucky to get a solid colored one! My friend was looking to buy for a red/blue or any other color than black, but sadly he had to opt for a full black version so to avoid those cheap stickers.

P.S : No offence to anyone, but personally i find those white sticker job like, a Crow has taken a massive dump on the bike. :|
It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

totally agreed. A petition is required for them to bring back and/or at least maintain a few decent color patterns in the lineup.

Even I second the comments above. I was also looking for a solid blue NS in the showrooms here in Bangalore. Unfortunately, the NS is a fast mover in the showrooms here and nobody had any stock of the 2013 batch.

Ended up with a tacky (in comparison to the single colour NS) black and blue multi-coloured one. Still a great looker, but spoiled with the cheap stickers.

Eurogrip is just the brand name. I think all the ATT prefix models are called Eurogrip. The new ATT230R is soft compound and heard that it wears out in 10k kms, but superb traction.
I don't know anything technical. Maybe I had got a softer compound tire, I think.

This is the condition of my 12k old rear tire, still going well yea ?
I had posted my tire picture; months ago. @6-7K mileage. You remember?
                  more than 80% worn-out condition.

Experiencing another issue guys. When I downshift sometimes the gear gets stuck. When I let go off the clutch a little the gear downshifts. Like suppose I am shifting from from 5th to 3rd gear. I downshift to 4th then again when I downshift to 3rd it gets stuck in between having freeplay and when I just let go off the clutch a little the gear automatically downshifts. Also when I shift to first gear sometimes the gear lever moves way too much down and when I let go off the clutch the lever xomes nack to normal. Also experiencing hard up shifts. Sometimes the gear wont upshift. But then if I let go off the clutch and press it again the upshift happens. Is something wrong with the clutch?

had exactly the same problem. this happened at every sudden downshifts, at every signal, at every stops...was irritating and dangerous too...during first service, showed to mech and service manager...they said that the clutch was tight and adjusted it...never had this problem after that. also mech advised to avoid downshifts all of a sudden..like while approaching a signal, downshift one by one...now 3000 on odo and absolutely niggle free....touchwood

Looks like you're riding a 200NS... this is one of it's common issues.
What oil are you currently using ? This problem is minimized with the use of Motul 5100. Also get your Clutch play adjusted.

Well this will get solved with a lol clutch adj... and by huge margin when u downshift..... make sure u rev once a bit n downshift to 5 >>> rev a bit n u shift to 4>>> similarly n so forth. .....as in when u are on track downshifting. This works the best for most of us... specially people who have rode 2 strokes in the past will agree ....
