Go for Michelin Street Radial, available in 130/70 and comes with a 5 yr warranty. Upgrading to 140/70 will increase the weight slightly and reduce the initial pick-up slightly. There are lot of guys who upgraded to 140/70, they can comment better.

Sure, sorry...was running to my office so couldn't click a proper pic...

About the grip...the dry grip is awesome... I had a trip from Mumbai to Goa last week and this tyres performed exceptional...even on the hairpin turns on the ghats.

Don't know about wet grip yet
...because although there was bit of rain when I was in pune this Monday while returning from Goa, I was at around 40-50kph as I had removed the rear tyre hugger and didn't want mud all over my back !

I was about to make purchase of my Blue NS.afternoon... and SVC guys call up just an hour before I planned to meet them, saying it's a booked pulsar that was on display and the sales executive on who spoke to me wasn't aware of it.

          dejected and lost

fought with them.. no use.. finally booked a new red/black for delivery tomorrow..

Hey guys. I got my new pulsar 200ns
            Finishd 250kms.
I find my tappet clearance increasing as the bike warms up. Is this normal in pulsar 200ns?
I know tappet setting has to be done but normally tappet clearance decreases as the engine warms up
And as i neared 100kms, I couldnt help but notice that my bike was idling a little rich so i leaned the mixture to make it idle stabily but it has a slight starting problem. It starts properly but the engine has to pass compression atleast three times to start. This was happening even before I tuned the carb. I tried setting it at cold too even though its not recommended and still the problem persists. I think i have to wait till it runs in because i can feel the idling mixture changing. It only happens when the engine is cold though. Must be because of high comression ratio and four valves.
Carburation is very sensitive to compression ratio and less vacuum due to bigger or more valves
And is the bajaj con rod bearing noise normal in the NS?
I thought it had the duke engine

But i really appreciate that being a pulsar with high compression ratio the bearing and piston ring hammering noise is less than the other pulsars with less compression ratio
Pulsar pistons usually have a wider diameter skirt compared to the crown if you compare it with pistons of other bikes so the rings stick out and get hammered on power stroke.

                ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Hate to say this, my ns is in svc from a week for repair work, had a crash. issurance guys are a little dope. btw i hope my bike would be done in 3 or 4 days from now. also gonna post all repair & parts cost. really missing my bike. i own a single tone red but love dual tone colours too esp. the matte handlebars, also the 2014 dual tone batch sounds a bit different and bassy slightly.

Thanks man I only want dry grip as it doesn't rain much here and my stock tyre drifts when I ride hard so the att 230 should be a good choice.

Btw waiting for some more pics. ..///

Really pissed. My little bro took the bike for a ride today I was ok as he rides quite good. I told him to get the keys as I was sleeping. But something smelled fishy. He took all my blue LED parking light bulbs around 4 of them from my drawer to get them fitted on the bike. When he came back he showed me what he did with those bulbs. Looked cool but I asked him to open it immediately and fit the regular bulbs. As he was pulling out the socket the LED got stuck and when he tried to get the bulb by his fingers the bulb went inside the bulb housing(attached a pic. The blue thing shining hazily is the bulb). I currently might murder my bro :banghead:. So please help me regarding this. How do I get the bulb out? Do I have to open up the whole fairing or what. Please help.

No dude I do not mean that the bulb is stuck in the bulb socket. The bulb is inside the headlight housing.

Oh. Do u mean that I have to open the whole visor? Or just the side covers of the headlight. Can u please give some pics of which thing to open in order to make it clear? Would be a great help.
