I just took delivery of my 200ns last week. The chain looks very dry. I agree with you on that. However, I didn't feel any tightness or noise. Guess the tension is at optimum level.

That sounds fine... try lubing with the spray that u got...

Btw guys ... its been good 5k kms that I am not using those expensive sprays. Im using sae 90 oil what is used for gear differential in four wheelers.

I must say the kind of chain play is req during the city n highway runs is amazing... if u wanna try. I say go for it. But after u lube it ..pk ensure to clean the extra on chain to be wiped off with a dry cloth.

I had to replace the rear tyre under warranty when it was just 4500kms as it got a bulge. Which means the rear tyre was only 22K kms when I changed it now.
On good roads, Eurogrip doesn't have any issues with cornering at high speeds, be it wet or dry. But both front and rear looses grip even with the slightest amount of loose sand, small stones etc. While Eurogrip performs decently under normal breaking, it gives you jitters on panic breaking. 90% of the time the wheels locked when I had to panic break @90+ kmph. Good part is, it is very less prone to puncture. I had just one puncture.

          New tyres
          Front: 80/100 Michelin Pilot sporty
          Rear: 130/70 MRF Revz S
Michelin Street Radial comes in 130/70 is the best for 200NS, but is 2k more than MRF.

Just covered around 500 kms with the new set. The grip is much better. No fishtailing even on hard breaking at speeds above 100kmph. Yet to test in wet conditions and ghats.
          Thanks for your user experience.
          I will go for Michelin.

Still I am confused by stock tire. everyone talking about its drawbacks. & all of you had got more than 20K mileage.
          Eurogrip has two models ??
Because my back tire given me only 8.5K and front 14.5K with exceptional grip on tarmac.(no stunts)
          Please anyone clarify my doubt.

The only way to find out for sure would be to lubricate the chain. It wouldn't do you any harm to try. Besides it's not good to ride with a dry chain.

The way the chain came from the factory, it was almost dry and the tension of the chain was too tight. Immediately after lubricating and adjusting, the bike became smoother and the chain noise disappeared.
Well I had my 1st servicing exactly a week back. Chain had been cleaned and lubricated plus adjusted too much and there was no free play. I got the sound then. Then I loosened the chain a bit and the noise disappeared. Now again the sound has crept in. Dont know what to do

Well my chain when it came from factory was lubricated well. The reason being the bike was manufactured on 27th january(p.s. manufacturing date written on the bike non polluting sticker) and I got my bike on 11th march. So not much time elapsed when I got the bike.

Do you have the stock Eurogrip? I have never heard of anyone whose stock tyre has worn out before 20k.
Eurogrip is just the brand name. I think all the ATT prefix models are called Eurogrip. The new ATT230R is soft compound and heard that it wears out in 10k kms, but superb traction.

It is the rear disc squeaknoise, it'll go out in 100-150kms.
I use tvs tru chain spray, costed 385₹ for half litre. Works well.
I don't care for sprockets, chain, ,as they DONG cost more than 1500₹. What i care about is no vibe smooth transmission of power via chain.

Guys I'm purchasing NS this weekend.

I've scouted showrooms here and managed to find a solid color blue

SVC guy says it's the last in batch.

Now I'm stuck with dilemma to buy the dual red or old blue.

I kinda started liking new red, especially the front looks too good. Though the tank looks awkward.

                        Opinions please..

Get the solid blue, over time you will appreciate the beauty in simplicity and won't regret it. I personally think the the new sticker job on the 200ns looks tacky and cheap. Although the stickered blue-black looks good in photos, but in person it's a different story altogether.

Simply go for the solid Blue.
Dual tone looks great as well. One should see the Black-white combo in motion on road, it's very striking looking.. But I think we should sign a petition against Bajaj to bring back the single tone colors.. the mustard yellow especially.

The SVC guy says it's a 2014 make. And the same will be reflected in the RC.

He says the last batch of single colored NS was manufactured in 2014 only..
