It's a new bike. Rear shock is adjusting so the squeak. You need not worry. I was in the same dilemma when I brought my NS

      • Re: Pulsar 200 NS Rear Mono Shock Problem

        Hello guys,
I have decided to upgrade the tires on my NS. I commute 80KMS a day to work by bike and don't want to take my chances with the stock tires during monsoon.
        My options are:
Front: MRF Zapper FX - stock size
Rear: MRF Revz-S stock size or TVS ATT 230R

Does anyone have any feedback on the ATT230r?
I know the MRF tires will be easily available, want to see the ATT 230R too. Can someone help me in finding them in the western suburbs?

        Regards
All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

But if you rip a new engine made by the company it wont damage your engine so much cauz the company keeps extra clearance so people donot cease their engines and also if you run it in well a good carbon seal will form in all the small gaps and increase compression and also rings need to become perfectly round

Hi friend in our beasts clutch hardness is one of the issue. By changing to this adjustable machined lever any issues you found, bcoz some of the NSians changed to this one and found brake jamming issues in the previous posts. Kindly share your opinion.

So, tomorrow, precisely at 10.35am, my ns affair will become 1 year more stronger (not older) .
                  Odos clocked~ 5800kms.
2 accidents, not much damage to me, not much to my bike. But still 2000₹ DENT.
                  Bike condition-
Looks- as told by dealer after a wax wash, looks like 40 days old.
Thanks to 300₹ cover and my religious habit to cover my love even for 10 min.
Performance- r15s and rtrs used to cry earlier, I can still see them angry.
Avg- doesn't matter, never measured, but in 500₹ petrol, it covers like 190-200kms.
Relaibilty- did two non stop 200kms trip, never even bothered even for air level.
                  Feedback
I got a hell lot more than those 94.5k I paid for.
Recently reviewd my insurance policy, now price of my ns is 73k.
Overall I'm happy with my ns. It has never let me down, neither given those typical pulsars kind of probelm.only regret is that from now on, I won't be able to ride it even for 5kms a week, maybe my lust may force me to take it out for a spin, to relinquish those memories, that adrenaline.
Wishing all my regards and luck for their ride. This bike made me a adamant biker and tourer, one who hates anything above 2 wheels and which can't go 0-60 in ~ 3 sec.
Maybe after 3 years, I'll get time to ride daily, to relive those moments of leisure and tension free ride .till then my love stands beneath a 2 mm thick royal Enfield cover, which has turned from black to grey, protecting my ns from harsh Sun rays.

                      Long term owners,

Looking to get this as my second bike after 5 years of FZ. What economy can I expect in city riding? Getting 35 from FZ.
Also, hows the overall quality, refinement etc?

I too faced brake jamming problem when I changed my levers. All you have to do to prevent it is to loosen the brake bleeding screw, let a little brake fluid flow out and tighten it back.
I have been using similar adjustable CNC levers for more than a year now. Other than that initial hiccup, its working fine now but don't expect it to free os smoothen your clutch feel. They are as hard as ever, in my case atleast. Done oiling ever link and parts related to clutch in vain.

Clutch n brake lever cost 1700!

Why so much? What advantage do they offer? Coz the normal ones cost around 100.

                          Thanks!

there's a pin in the brake lever..it's due the length of this pin, the brake was jammed..the wheel was not even moving...so the mechanic shortened it's length and it was good to go...no other changes were made...
