For me it was the other way around. The day when I got the bike I was sleepless. I even wanted to take my bike in my bedroom and sleep. Lol.
      Happy ride

        Guys,
My bike is just a month old. Finished first service.750 kms done. Today i was doing the regular cleaning of the bike and when i started and moved the bike as usual i felt like the bike stuck at its place and suddenly heard a breaking sound. I noticed that the entire rear brake assembly was loose and it had snapped. I have no clue why this happened. I have left my bike at the SVC. Its a sunday so they dont work. Waiting to see what will happen. Has anyone faced similar problems??? And can anyone please explain as to what might have gone wrong?

Snapped ? is it broken ?

          Pictures please .

I believe the you need to loosen the axel bolt to loosen the Rear disc caliper(might be wrong).

Finaly folks i got my pulsar 200ns today, grinning ear to while i writing this...!!

This thread has been incredibly helpful in zeroing on the 200ns,

The whole purchasing experience at bagga link (saraswati vihar)was very good in imo.
The staff involved in the purchase did a good job be it paperworks or delivery.

Rear brake assembly snapped? No way the assembly can snap or break if that is what you meant. Secondly, if the caliper bolts were loosened at the SVC and failed to re-tighten it, this would have happened. Luckily this didn't pop up when you were riding the bike, else it would have turned out sour. Get it replaced/repaired under warrnty.

The seats should hardly cost 800 to 950 bucks approximately. Secondly you can use an external seat cover to protector the OE seat from scratches such as these. Too many illiterates around prying on others' stuffs.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

For your kind of use you can push the oil upto 7k kms. There are owners who have gone upto 8k km with 7100 but personally i think 6-7k is fine. Its a very long lasting oil.

But for only city use, i feel motul 5100 is a better option for you. It costs less, suits the engine beautifully and lasts about 5k kms. Occasional highway runs are fine as well. City use does not require motul 7100.

P.S bajaj oil lasting 10k kms is an old joke. There was a case here in mysore who faced seizure at 8k km with bajaj oil.

Your right about the oil. Motul is the best. But you donot need to use engine flush in your engine unless your oil feels too sluggy. I would avoid engine flush as it makes the oil loose its property when mixed with it and causes slight damage that you wont notice at the time but after using flush again and again you'll know the difference and you do have to start the engine and let the flush circulate to let the sludge disolve so thaats not a good thing. I would suggest not to use it at all even if sludge. The sludge wont cause any problem. Next time change your oil earlier if your oil got sluggy the previous time. Thats the best flush.
