Had first puncture today, nail was longer than my pinky finger
Anyways, thanks to my lazy attitude which prohibited me of going to petrol pump and get some air, I was riding at 10 psi pressure, so a puncture was inevitable.

Could not agree more...
I've just upgrade to 140-60 section MRF Revz-Y and they are really really good. There is absolutely no comparison.
And with the added advantage of reduced ride height.
I wonder why Bajaj opted for Eurogrips when they could have had these for a little more cost.

I've had these for only 100 KMS, but I could not be more happy.

The k&n is doing great on the carb and so is the ride and efficiency.
Switching to zapper 140/60 on the rear is highly highly recommended if you have problems with the ride height and esp grip (Bad Bad Euroslips )..Apart from the height only thing I find annoying on the bike is the heavy handle bar, takes much effort to turn when moving slow.Except for that its a great ride.

Contrary to your experience, I find that the steering on the 200NS is a little too light for my liking. It's great for the nip and tuck of city traffic though and requires less effort than a CBR250. Of course, that's my experience coming from a CBR.

i faced the same problem after my first sevice. But they rectified it with certain o ring on the oil filter which cocted only 6 bucks. Hope your problem is also solved easily.

I guess something went wrong with the head due to which the oil was leaking, i am doubting it could be due to the threads going Kaput on the head while adjusting Tappet ...may be ??

Anyone had the same issue ?? Any suggestions will be welcome.

This is my first post to xbhp.
Actually I had an issue with my pulsar 200 ns (2 week old).
Current odo=610 kms. First service done.
I gave my bike to service center in Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
I had a problem with rear mono shock ( some squeaky noise is coming ), and i told about this issue to the SVC guy.
He removed the swing arm bush and lubricated it.
Delivered the bike after service. But after coming home i realised the noise is still there, so i went back to svc again on the same day.
He then removed the the nail holding the swing arm, lubricated it and placed it back. he vigorously pushed the bike from top to rectify the mono shock problem but he was unable to resolve it.
So in the whole and sole process, i found that the height of my bike has tremendously got down than earlier.
I compared my bike with same bike in my society and it found thisright one is mine)
The height actually got lowered down and i can feel it while riding.
I am very confused and tensed and dont know what to do.
Is this a problem due to faulty mono shock? Will the height get restored back to earlier after replacing the mono shock assembly?? or is there any other way to increase the height...i think it happend because the mechanic pushed the bike vigorously from back... dont know!!
Plz reply..
I noticed one thing.. that in 200NS atleast, simply fiddling with the rear monoshock setting lowers your ride height permanently.. and doesn't matter if you revert the settings to "Stiffest", the ride height doesn't increase as it was orignally. I dont know what's a proper way to increase it like it comes from the factory. I also made a mistake of telling my mechanic to go two step towards the softer setting.. and then after a few days I reverted back to 2nd stiffest setting , now my ride height has noticeably lowered and I'm not liking it very much..

Don't think I am that lucky.

Looks like the thread for the head is going kaput and needs replacement.
Its been there for couple of days and still they don't have the part to replace it.

Its very annoying especially when I have to travel to work in bus and in bangalore traffic.

Hey!

A friend of mine who himself owns a 200NS told me that when the petrol goes to reserve the "RPM Limiter" light stays continuously on. But on my NS i didn't see the light come on even though the digital fuel meter had no bars,i have attached a photo indicating the same. Please let me know the problem.

Thanks

Odo 16600+ kms and bike is complete stock. Chain set completely worn out. Have to replace it before the next ride. Yesterday night I covered 200 kms Highway ride in rain with constant chain sprocket noise. Noise increase as RPM increase and become worse like metal grinding at 5k RPM and than it become silent upto 7K RPM. Didn't push beyond that.

@Himanshu Patel
honestly I've been very lazy in past months, could've done alot better in maintaining it.. but still it's good to go for many thousand Kms more. Just cleaned it with Motul chain cleaner that costs 500+ INR and lubed it with TVS tru spray (350+ INR), now after 20 months, Motul chain cleaner bottle is empty, so I use diesel worth 10 INR to clean it.. does a good job too. I've ridden hard and harsh sometimes, and wheelie sessions that puts great stress on the chain sprockets. hence there is some noise in the chain now. All's well otherwise.

@Anuj_Gupta
Yes ofc! can't miss it... unless rain gods have their own plans for Sunday.. let's see
