P.S- When the engine is running, The bike still cranks if the starter button is pressed. Is this normal?
1.your AFR ratio isn't perfect, get it rectified.
    2. Its normal.

I also bought the NS just couple days back. Mine is Blue/Black. Looks stunning.

Its very smooth when driving after the 3rd gear but when I drive it slow the bike tries to hold itself back like bike is on low fuel or its going into reserve mode. I m not sure what is causing this. Is it normal in the new NS?

Also the engine heats up only after 5-10mins of riding, is that normal ? If not what should I do to rectify it?

    Thanks for helping me

    Regards,
    Sunny
Engine is bound to heat up after running. So it depends how much it is getting heated up, as we cannot tell, it can be state of mind, or some minor problem, don't worry.
    1. Maybe petrol pipe is bend between the tank while it was being assembled back.
2.afr can be culprit if this is happening in 4.5-5.5k rpm.
    3.clutch maybe needs adjustment.

    • NGK Spark Plug

      Hi friends ,

My Name is Vinoy & I own Pulsar 200 NS , I have done my 1st servicing am thinking to change the spark plugs to{ Ngk Iridium Spark Plugs } . I have read that NGK spark plug has high melting point & performance will also increase but am not sure what model to buy for the 200 NS.

Can you help me in getting the model number for all the 3 spark plugs which I used in Pulsar 200 NS .

      Thank you

      Vinoy

Its just the AFR setting , I had the same exact problem, take it to a good service centre, they will fix it in 10 mins

If 200ns was fuel injected, I'm sure the number of posts in this ownership thread would've been 1/3rd of what we have today.

                  Here are the numbers :-
                  Master Plug (Center) - BOSCH - VR5NE
Slave Plugs (Left and Right) - RG-6HCC

But I dont think you need to change the plugs so early. If you want more power, you should have gone for Duke 200 or any other powerful bike.

Does any one have any idea for alternative slave plugs of the same heat range except for champion plugs and has any one tried a different plug, if so how does it perform?

This is one thing a lot of people are confused by and il tell you why.
Because the passage from the air screw flows through the pilot jet helping to draw fuel better but thats all it does, only helps. The mixture becomes leaner and not richer. This diagram isnt exact but it explains exactly what happens

Where are you getting this air screw from... Its a CV carb on a 4 stroke bike.. Its fuel screw.. There is no air screw.. As far as my knowledge goes, 2 strokes got air screw.
