Wohhhh 69k for 9200 kms old... Its a good deal brother... I guess the engine will be in healthy state..
Yes brother the clutch takes time to get used to..
Alternatively you can adjust it to your needs...

• 200NS: Very strange issue with acceleration

Hi fellow bikers,

I am Vikram from Pune - a Network Security professional. Last week I bought Pulsar 200NS Black & White and facing a strange problem with its acceleration. So thought of asking you all if somebody faced the same with his/her 200NS.

Being graduated from 150cc 13.5bhp Unicorn, I was pretty excited to be on the saddle of 23.5bhp. I brought it myself by riding 15 kms from showroom to my home . From the very next day I started riding it to the office and I noticed that at one point or two it just looses the energy and behaves as if it is out of petrol. The same feeling you get when a bike comes to reserve. Initially I neglected it thinking it might be due to new engine and parts but I started experiencing it daily. Then today I focused on it and noticed that it happens when there is a sudden gust of wind from the opposite direction! Yeah I know it doesn't sound right but this is what actually happening. As soon as there is a sudden wind from the front, bike's acceleration becomes dull. And as soon as the wind changes the direction acceleration becomes normal and no issues at all. After getting home today I thought about it technically and searched the net but there is no mention of such issue anywhere... I know I am sounding foolish but this is what is happening in my brand new bike which I have never experienced in any of the 'motors' I have ever ridden. Also I am a bit afraid if I explain this to the Bajaj service person they will take me for a ride saying boss you are too excited with a new bike, continue riding it you will get used to it!! Please pour in your thoughts guys what should I do because those are my hard earned 94K and whatever's happening right now is not satisfying .

Thanks to all.

Also punctures can be repaired yourself using puncture kits.. look for DIY Pulsar video on youtube for this.
Brother how will you get pressurized air to fill up in tyre after repairing puncture. razr thank you.

No probs, and youll have to get a foot pump if you want to fill air again after fixing the puncture.

not the best deal but ok.. 2012 models are supposed to be no more than 60k .. but it's cool u got R15's Revz-s..
And why haven't u ridden for 3 1/2 years ? May be it's stalling more because of its idle and clutch play setting.. get them both optimized.

That's probably true Delhi/NCR region, in Bangalore where the taxes are sky high thats a fair price.
I recently got myself a November 2012 bike for 68K, it had done only 1K genuine KMS.

Your bike is running lean my friend. That's the only explanation I can think of. Just needs ten minutes to observe the spark plugs and if (I'm pretty sure) it shows a lean indication, the fuel screw on the carburetor needs necessary adjustment and you're good to go

In case that doesn't work, get the fuel tap checked for clogs. Also, one pipe leads down from the fuel knob to a white part (I dont know what its called). Another pipe runs from this white part back to the top of the tank. One final pipe leads from this white part down into the carburetor. Get it checked to make sure that none of these pipes are jammed anywhere, especially the one going upto the top of the tank. This pipe is most susceptible to getting jammed between the tank and the steel frame. Happened to me twice.

Hi Aditya.. thanks for your inputs. I will get these things checked ASAP. But still wondering why it only happens when there is a strong wind from opposite and not happens any other time?? If there something's clogged then it should bring the trouble all the time.

Hey viks, next time notice it keenly, it must be happening at a particular RPM in any gear.. not when there is a gust of wind, that actually sounds wierd, even though it might be happening with you!

vikas, the way you're saying the strong wind force makes your bike "go out of petrol" ,I'll suggest to check throttle cable and its play also get the petrol lines below fibre petrol tank area checked by removing fibre tank assembly, shouldn't take more than 10 min.
Also check the rpm while it happens, if this thing happens between 4.5-5k rpm, then you're running lean, get your afr adjusted.
Relax, nothing's wrong.
