Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I did 147 kmph with pillion and 155 kmph without pillion. Road conditions and wind blast matters.Originally posted by shrey1992 View PostI have touched 135 kmph fully crouched and maybe it could have gone to 136 or hardly 137.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Duke's top speed is electronically limited to 136 km/h. NS keeps going till it can, usually with slight wind support it goes over 151+ easily.Originally posted by maninderz View PostHey guys i have a little query, yesterday had a top speed run alongwith Duke 200.
Initially Duke has better acceleration but I was able to pass it at around 135-140 kmph and we checked it 4 times and everytime I was able to pass it. So does our NS has higher top speed?
And it was on almost 0 traffic road.

Okay !
My bike touches 135 very easily and have done 132 with a 120kg pillion +myself 84 kgs
.Highest top speed i have achieved is 147 kmph which was limited due to end of road
Such a great bike above 7500 rpm !

Dude before replacing why dont you try to to drill a hole on the plug end thats on the engine head and then screw a bolt inside then try un screwing with a wrenchOriginally posted by Saravanan Murdlock View PostOh dear.. worked for a friend who cracked a plug in his apache. Before doing this remove the engine head keep in on a work bench and then work. Yeah its serious but you should keep a cool head. Worse case scenario you damage the plug and head and you have to replace it any ways.

Now what are all the further nuts to open our cylinder head? Do we have to remove valve timing chain to remove the head? If so could u please tell me how to detach the timing chain. Will be grateful if I get a reply

I suggest you don't hurry up to open head. Find some tool that can locked inside the hole then by applying pressure try unscrew the metal piece. I hope you got my point. The tool should grip inside the hole and unscrew.
This method had worked for me.
Another option is to take help from a nearby mechanic.
Good Luck!!![emoji106]

I don't remember now. It's almost a year now. May be i had used some pliers or something else. I tried with many different tools. I will try to recall.Originally posted by Saravanan Murdlock View PostBro, thanks for the reply. What have you used to unscrew the broken piece?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
This goes as a good warning for amateurs wanting to attempt fixing stuff on their ride which includes fastening, ie, tightening or loosening stuff like nuts n bolts, screws, etc. It may look simple looking at someone else doing it and you may have the strength but it's nothing to do with strength in the first place. There's a certain torque at which every fastener has to be tightened depending on various factors like the size of the fastener, it's use, where it is used, etc. Please take it seriously guys. Only people who have had formal training and/or done it under expert supervision should attempt. Ride safe.Originally posted by Saravanan Murdlock View PostOh dear.. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
dude the front stock tyre of NS is one of the good ones out there.. just change your rear according to the conditions you're riding in. and work on ur braking style for lose tarmac. Usage of front brake on lose tarmac has to be very precise and low to none. More rear for lose surface, and start using engine braking to avoid lock ups.Originally posted by daulasa200 View Posthey guys after 1yr 8mths my bike completed ODO 12828km. im still using stock tyres. im living at rural area so road conditions are no good. and also national highway 54 crossing over my area. my bike tyre eurogrip alwys skid even lower rpm. after reading xbhp june july editions 2014 and seen review of ceat Zoom. im thinking of buying ceat Zoom for front tyre.. can u guys suggest me what tyre should i use for rear ?t
