Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

    Hey guys need your advice. I am going to go tomorrow to the SVC to collect my New back seat (older one flew off, wasn't locked properly). And I wanted to get my oil changed from another mechanic but i will be buying spares at the svc . So apart from the oil what else should I change ? The oil filter and oring? What else ?
    And is the oring just for engine or I have to specify oring type ?

      Change the oil filter and oil filter O' ring.
      The part number or the O ring is JG571016 and the price is 5 rupees and 70 paise. If you do not change the O ring, oil may start leaking through the oil filter cover. BTW you got a PM.

        I've changed oil two times without changing o ring seal( lazy Me) ,everything's fine
        By the way, do change it if you can, if you don't want to, you can inspect the ring and decide yourself.

          hey guys today i have dne my 2nd servicing , had ask the svc guy to do the carb setting, after service the bike seems to heat quickly even wen i rode just about 4-5 kms the engine heated up , like i can feel the heat , it was not the problem before i serviced, as the carb setting influenced it or it some thing else ...anyone here from mumbai who can suggest me a better svc centre the one i went had mechs with no experience , any link or suggestion to retune the carb by my self i havesearched here but cant really get a clear picture , as i am a noob in these things ... help me out guys

            Mumbai guys can help you out with service center locations.

            As for the heating issue, maybe the mechanic adjustex the AFR a bit to the leaner side. Lean running engines heat up quickly. Well maybe he thought you needed more FE when you asked him to make carb adjustments. If he didnt tamper with the cooling system, rest assured, your problem is minor (in my books its not a problem at all :P). Just re visit the service station and ask the same mechanic to rework the tuning.

              K...I suppose he didn't mess up with cooling system, only adjusted the afr screw that's it and ya I had asked him for a better FE setting ...can I do it my self , means retune the Afr screw...I want a proper balance and a smooth ride...
