There's been too much discussion about stock tyres. Simply put, they're ok for everyday use and have an advantage of lasting longer than others, also being puncture resistant. Wet grip is very scary though.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I felt just the HID alone doesn't work well with NS' reflector. People look for aftermarket headlight setup when they're into touring, much night riding etc. Even for that stock NS headlight works good I believe. Keep it stock, better.Originally posted by puwanraaj View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Does anyone know what is the main jet size of NS' carburetor, and where can i buy a bigger main jet online, because it's not available anywhere in my city.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
From last few rains, the rear brake has lost its sharp bite, earlier if pressed a little bit more, it used to make bike fishtail. Now the brake works, but kinda in dull way.
I know, one pressure wash in next service will do the work.
But the thing is, I want my rear brake to be like it is now, press how much you want, bike won't fishtail or tyre won't skid, it's like brake has now a natural limit of non slipping.
Front is doing great by the way.
Also, do anyone else also feels that their ns clutch lever is very hard. ? I checked other bikes like 220, apache etc and all had like no clutch at all, compared to the hardness in ns clutch. My local mech says it'll wear out clutch plates faster, but the clutch is never fiddled with, it came as same From factory. Any suggestions upon this. .?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I had my 2nd servicing done and told the SVC to just tighten the foot lever of the brake, but he ended up doing what you said. The back wheel brakes now but never locks up. That's good and bad in a way but it's working fine for me. And yeah our clutch wire is tight and hand pains if in traffic , I think my steering is also quite tight because even at 100kmph I can leave both my hands and the bike stays still. Tried a ZMR the handle was soo loose but it felt great too. Anyways I don't mind the tight steering because i can stretch my hands in long drives or after getting through traffic when palms pains due to clutch lever without stopping. Ps: sometimes people glare at me for leaving both my hands while driving.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My rear disc break is completely gone. Even after putting my entire foot on it i can't feel much braking. Even at low speeds i have to notice carefully if rear brake is working or not and it is a waste at high speeds. What could be the problem ?I am loving my NS

Yup shadowgun clutch is hard in NS in comparison to others, tried myself really hard to make it feel smoother by cleaning and lubing, adjusting,it did not work so the only option would be hydraulic clutch but i'm thinking about trying to fit others clutch set to NS and afterward gonna give you a feedback.Originally posted by shadowgun View PostFrom last few rains, the rear brake has lost its sharp bite, earlier if pressed a little bit more, it used to make bike fishtail. First follow these easy step,1.Check brake shoe2.Check brake oilIf you find everything is ok than you have to adjust and tight your brake pedal wire,it might have gone loose.Originally posted by Newrider88 View PostMy rear disc break is completely gone. Hey guys after watching review on KTM Duke 390 presented by powerdrift, this Metzeler tyre (German brand) seems quiet flawless. And this metzeler is provided on 400SS 140/70.I think it would fit in NS so it would be a great upgrade comparing to other tyres. You guys must have already thought about it or if anyone have done it already feedback would be really appreciated.Put The Pedal To The Metal

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Do you thin this would work out, you can not change the clutch plates or clutch plates of NS with other bikes. Sometimes the cable is interchangeable, for instance, the Vespa clutch cable fits in the Duke 200, but the effort required to pull in the clutch stays same. Hydraulic is your only option.Originally posted by Tanzing Sherpa View PostYup @shadowgun clutch is hard in NS in comparison to others, tried myself really hard to make it feel smoother by cleaning and lubing, adjusting,it did not work so the only option would be hydraulic clutch but i'm thinking about trying to fit others clutch set to NS and afterward gonna give you a feedback.
Your bike wheels are aligned properly so it goes in a straight line even when you let go of the handlebars, even if you loosen the handlebars, it'd still stay that way.Originally posted by pratiksgole View PostI had my 2nd servicing done and told the SVC to just tighten the foot lever of the brake, but he ended up doing what you said. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
GUYS PLEASE before giving for servicing remove all petrol. These kleptomaniac pieces of sh#* at Bajaj SVC steal petrol. I have maintained a log of kilometres and litres of petrol filled. Got an average of 36kmpl always. Now today after filling the tank upto the brim I calculated again and the mileage dropped to 25kmpl . Well of course it hasn't dropped as the riding style route and number of days are roughly the same not influencing the kmpl so much , it's these cheap Bajaj SVC guys who stole 3 litres of petrol according to my calculation. Plus I had seen 1 bar less after servicing but didn't think they would have stolen 3 litres !! And well I don't think they will stop stealing, the best thing you can do is to give bike for servicing at reserve but again they will leave very little petrol maybe not even enough for you to reach the petrol pump so carry a gallon of petrol maybe when collecting bike :P . I don't mind paying 250 rs extra but don't steal petrol like that, anyways they never service the bike and check all the things mentioned in the manual . At least the SVC manager at my place doesn't ask for a bribe to do a real servicing . Just for that reason m gonna get my bike serviced at another SVC which is 30 kms farther..

Pulsar 220 NS lol that's the reason SVCs screw up in servicing bikesOriginally posted by abhiwltya View PostInfo on carb pilot and main jets + afr factory settings of different bajaj models

EDIT: I can confirm that the jet sizes for Pulsar 200NS and 135LS is correct, others may be wrong.
Also doesn't Pulsar 220 use a BS32 instead of a BS29 as mentioned in the picture?Last edited by Cleaner; 03-07-2014, 09:46 PM.I am back!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Jet sizes are correct. Because thats what matters to maintenance people, the type of carb, here in bhopal they don't even know, they just call it 220 wala carb, ns wala carb, etc etc
