Will the stock 200ns be able to scale heights of Leh without any jetting adjustments? I do understand that as the air gets thinner up higher, the fuel will have to be made leaner (with the fuel screw) to match the air intake. But is jetting absolutely necessary or can our beloved stock 200ns climb the heights comfortably? Many thanks in advance.
No jetting necessary, you may need to adjust the AFR a little bit with the AFR screw (clockwise leaner and counterclockwise richer) and cold starting may be a bit of a problem but no jetting needed AFAIK.

I too have booked a black 200ns will be taking the delivery tomorrow (hopefully).

I asked the showroom manager about the differences between the 2013 and 2014 models and the following are the points that he mentioned:

      1. Only Black is available in solid color among the 2014 models. Rest are dual tones. The initial Yellow, Blue & Red models are 2013 models and are not being made anymore
      2. The length of the rear tyre hugger is longer in 2014 model compared to 2013 model which will help reduce the dirt splash
      3. A small tank pad is part of the 2014 the model and was absent in the 2013 model
      4. The handle bars have a matt finish in 2014 model instead of the shiny black finish on the 2013 model
      5. The engine color is also slight bronze (if I may call that color so) and the earlier engine color was different

      Hope this helps

              Actually the linealogy goes like this: P220 > R15/CBR250R > 200 NS.

The 220 got stolen more than two years back. The R15 belonged to a friend who generously let me use it for a year. Maybe that's what spoiled me, because I never felt an emotional connect with the CBR250R no matter how efficient it was. In fact I had more of a connection with the P220. The CBR250R for me was almost soulless.

This is actually a question meant for another thread, but since it's regarding only this certain bike, I'm going to post it here: I want a good tail/tank bag which I can use daily. I have tried the Rynox S tank bag but I wasn't satisfied by the way it tied down on the rear seat and it didn't stick to the tank for a very long time either because only the front two suction cups would mount and the rear two had a hard time sticking on to the tank and would just come off. Any other options?

Jab Tak hamari bike mein kuch keeda nahin hoga, tab tak connection nahin ban paata hehe
But on a serious note, I'm surprised you're shifting from a cbr250r to a 200ns. Always thought 250r was a better machine over all.

Today came to know about the real power of 200 NS. After yesterdays 1st servicing took the bike for a ride. N my god. What power . Engine is so refined after first servicing . Smooth gear shifts. After crossing 70 kmph bike screams for more power. And what a sound from the exhaust. Really loved the instant power that the bike churns out. Definitely my transition from pulsar 220 to 200 ns was the best. I just love it.

Have you checked out bags by Cramster? I don't have one, but have seen some friends use them, seems to work well.

Saw the video of how it's mounted, those straps going all the way from the tank to the rear foot peg, looks, weird.

You need not follow the video IMHO. Different people have different approaches. I usually use it as a tank bag on my bike. Usual mounting stuff. And it doesn't budge on potholes at all. Also, it can't be stolen easily. I used it as a tail bag too and mounting it was very easy. I never referred to any videos for that!

Well my chain was adjusted yesterday and lubed and cleaned. I got some sounds till 15 kmph after which the squeak vanished. Now I found out that the chain was too tight. To be true no freeplay at all. Set the chain adjusters at 7 on both the sides and the squeak was gone and minimal freeplay. Well now few mins ago I raised the bike on center stand and switched on ignition shifted to 1st gear and released clutch slowly no sounds shifted to 2nd gear minimal sound (of clean rollers on the chain I guess) and when I shifted to 3rd gear and let go off the clutch slowly the whole bike produced vibrations. I mean the engine gave some clit clat sounds. Same on 4th 5th and 6th gear. Sounds of the clean rollers increased . I have no problem with that. But the whole bike producing vibrations like hitting a rock and engine giving clit clat sounds makes me worry. Help me guys please. Is it a problem to worry? Should I record the sound to make it more clear to all of you?
