On the rear the disk is rubbing in some particular portion, I told them that. It was my dad who noticed me that the brake fluid was completley empty. I was like what the???? I told them to refill it. Earlier I used to get 45kmpl regularly at speeds around 70-75kmph on daily commutes to college on the highway now it has dropped to 34kmpl. One of the guys in the svc is ignorant, he always tells me this is normal for ns and it will be solved when the bike gets older. So this time I refused to give him the bike and asked someone else to look to it. They said it will take two days. I said its ok and also said that I will not take delivery till all the problems are rectified.

Also both disc make a very low khas khas noise which i noticed on observing carefully in silent environment. Is it normal for disk brakes ? Lastly bike is a monster and i am loving it....i will post a short review soon.
Mine also a paricular portion of the disk is rubbing against the caliper, its kind of like a stone rubbing at that portion, a krk krk sound I hear.

Can anyone post a pic of front brake fluid container as a can't see anything in the inspection window or the fluid is transparent ? Arun, i don't think rear disc is affecting performance in my case and i am getting a mileage of 38 km/lt with a lot of hill riding at 60-75 km/h.

It just cant be empty... Its transparent and level is above full mark, so you cant view it.. Just shake the handle bar while viewing ( kinda hard ) and you will see a bubble. This means fluid is full. Your brake just wont work if its empty

Also guys my brake fluid got empty. I'm at 3100km on odo. Is this normal? How much does it last normally?
It is common for rear disc set up to get heated maybe because we keep a little pressure on the brake lever all the time unknowingly or loosen the nut near the brake lever (i dont know what it is called..but loosening it will release the brake lever pressure on the pads) and check for bent disc.Hope this solves your problem

Mine disc also touches pads at a specific place ,looks a defect in petal disc manufacturing, I've learned to live with it,my disc makes sound only when water is poured onto it ,normally it don't produces that much sound ..

See even i too had it...

They washed it, used some spray etc.. but nothing helped...

Only way to fix them is to Remove the caliper and push the piston back in...

Thats it... Noise wont come after that...

On the other hand, you can just Replace the shitty TVS DOT3 brake fluid to a BOSCH or Castrol DOT4 brake fluid.. Or a Motul will be good..

I had noise on both front and rear.
Rear got fixed by adjusting the piston and front by changing brake fluid...

Chances are having a bend disc...

I can ask svc to do that but can you tell me what precautions must be taken and will it effect braking performance ?

Take it to Probiking to get it fixed.. local bajaj ppl will show B attitude when you have more knowledge than them...

Probiking use Motul DOT4 oil... which is good..

When you upgrade your brake fluid, brake levers will be bit soft and responsive...

You can get it done by local mech itself.... everyone these days are aware of replacing brake fluid...

Anyone who still have Bike Swaying to left side problem?
I'm Fed up with NS. I made a bad decision in buying the bike. Should have waited for some other bike
P.S. I never had any problems with my 220 or my former Xtreme

In these 10 days, I must have gone to SVC more than 10 times.

Note: I'm not saying all NS are bad, but 3 to 4 bike out of 10 are. My friend who bought a red NS on the same day as me have the same problem with tons of other problems

I bought my bike on 11-11-13
Gave for 1st service on 19-11(650kms)

The one n only problem is Bike swaying to left side,

1. Done 1st service on 19th itself n they said they repaired the problem, which they lied to me. I test drove my bike n gave back since they didnt repair it

2. on 20th- they said the bike is repaired, I went to SVC n test drove. Still no!!

3. 21st, ie today- they removed fork n check the alignment n gave my bike back saying its repaired. Still the problem exists. Also tried removing front wheel(alloy+wheel) n replacing from another NS. Problem still exist

4. they narrowed the problem to rear alloy. They said to come tomorrow ie 22nd, they will try replacing rear wheel n check the problem exists or not.

The service head is a good man. He bared with me with all problems, but all others are intolerant fools

Hoping tomorrow would be a good day n I get back my NS problem free
